Very much goalless at St Mary's.

Leandro Trossard's double gives Brighton the lead at half time. Liverpool have recovered from that terrible start but they could easily have been 3-0 and 4-0 down before they started to turn it on. They have a lot of work to do still.

Another injury for Fulham. Striker Aleksandar Mitrovic limped off earlier on and now Layvin Kurzawa is also going to have to be replaced, with Issa Diop coming on.

Fulham have had a player sent off inside eight minutes, conceded three times at home and had two players go off injured. A nightmare half.

Seven Palace players on the goalline for this Chelsea free-kick. Kai Havertz and Reece James combine to find Mason Mount, whose shot hits the side-netting.

Ivan Toney and Neto are not friends. The Brentford striker can't connect with the volley as it's played in over his shoulder. He reacts and kicks the ball to the stands behind the goal. Neto isn't happy with him because he thumped it straight at the home fans. He gets a yellow card for it.

A busy day for the referee this. Joel Ward passes the ball back to Vicente Guaita, under pressure from Mason Mount, and Guaita has to catch it to diffuse the threat. Indirect free-kick to Chelsea 10 yards out.

A penalty shout for Brighton as there's a scramble in the box after Lewis Dunk goes down under pressure from Virgil van Dijk. It's eventually gathered in by Alisson in among a group of players and a quick VAR confirms it's nothing more.

Palace boss Patrick Vieira is still furious about the Thiago Silva situation and gets booked for dissent.

Huge chance at the other end for Bournemouth as Dominic Solanke pulls it back. There's two team-mates in the centre and one of them gets a shot off but Ben Mee blocks it.

The corner isn't dealt with properly by Bournemouth and it's chipped back in towards Kristoffer Ajer at the back post.

He can only head it onto the roof of the netting but he wasn't far away. Brentford winning those seconds balls in the air every time.

Palace bring on James Tomkins for the injured Nathaniel Clyne and Joel Ward goes to right-back.

Almost a third for Newcastle. Joe Willock flicks the ball goalwards, but Bernd Leno in the Fulham goal does well to get down quickly and push it away.

A rare chance for Southampton as the ball falls to Stuart Armstrong on the right wing and he sends in a low cross, but James Tarkowski does well to deflect the cross into Jordan Pickford's arms.

The England goalkeeper then has to make his first real save of the afternoon, dealing with another deflected effort from Armstrong.

Ivan Toney bundles into Neto as he goes for a cross and the Bournemouth keeper isn't happy at all. He thinks Toney has stuck his elbow into him deliberately. He's shouting angrily at him and the referee. There's a quick VAR check for a red card but it comes to nothing.
