Bournemouth 0-0 Brentford
It's pinball in the middle as Pontus Jansson's run down the left is met by a fierce Adam Smith, who boots it straight back upfield.

Liverpool 0-2 Brighton
Even Thiago looks off the pace. He tries to lift it into Kostas Tsimikas but it's way too heavy and rolls straight out for a goal kick.
Jurgen Klopp looks concerned on the touchline.
Crystal Palace 1-0 Chelsea
Palace have some good attacking players, don't they? Odsonne Edouard plas the ball across and Michael Olise lets it run to Eberechi Eze, who drags his first-time shot wide from just outside the box.
Southampton 0-0 Everton
A bright run from Everton's Demarai Gray, who collects the ball tight on the left touchline and goes at the home defence, cutting inside and trying to curl a shot past Gavin Bazunu from the edge of the penalty area.
Bazunu gets his body behind it and deals with the first shot on target from either side today.
Bournemouth 0-0 Brentford
Good spell from Bournemouth but the game is opening up now as Brentford go from one end to the other in just a few movements. Neither side look overly comfortable in midfield.
Crystal Palace 1-0 Chelsea
Now this is Chelsea's best chance. The England lads in the team combine as Mason Mount finds Reece James on the right and he crosses.
Raheem Sterling gets the ball and has a shot blocked by a defender. He gets a second bite at the cherry, whatever that cliche actually means, and clips the outside of the post from a tight angle.
Southampton 0-0 Everton
Still not much to get excited about at St Mary's. Southampton's Armel Bella-Kotchap tries his luck from 30 yards and shouldn't have bothered as it goes miles wide.

Liverpool have an ageing team in key areas. It's showing.

Liverpool 0-2 Brighton
Trent Alexander-Arnold whips a wicked cross in from the right and Fabio Carvalho is waiting to pounce before Joel Veltman gets it away at the back post.

It's absolutely deserved for Brighton. Before Leandro Trossard's second goal we counted three or four chances where they could have scored as well.
It's not as if the 2-0 flatters them.
Bournemouth 0-0 Brentford
The referee was called over to the pitchside monitor to check but he's stuck with his decision not to award a penalty to Bournemouth.
There was a bit of confusion in the standards as it looked like the referee had signally for a penalty at first!
Crystal Palace 1-0 Chelsea
Palace striker Odsonne Edouard trips Wesley Fofana as the Chelsea defender goes past him and gets a yellow card to go with his goal.
Southampton 0-0 Everton
A chance for Everton. The ball is fizzed across the six-yard box from Demarai Gray on the right and Conor Coady at the near post gets to the ball ahead of Gavin Bazunu, but just can't get enough on it to threaten the goal.
Crystal Palace 1-0 Chelsea
Chelsea's first proper chance. Kai Havertz dinks up a nice little cross from the right which Mason Mount heads wide from 10 yards out. You'd expect Mount to do better there.
Liverpool 0-2 Brighton

Former England defender on Final Score
Credit to Brighton playing extremely well, Liverpool at home tend to press things but its the other way round now, Brighton playing with all the possession. Trent Alexander-Arnold is stood with hands on hips, one of those days.
Bournemouth 0-0 Brentford
Bournemouth have had to deal with a long period of Brentford pressure but are starting to find their feet.
Jordan Zemura has it in the box and goes down under a challenge from Kristoffer Ajer. The hosts want a penalty and it's gone to VAR...
Southampton 0-0 Everton
Twenty minutes gone at St Mary's - no shots on target from either side. Must do better.

It was a carbon copy of the first goal. Leandro Trossard scores in exactly the same spot. He was composed, nice and cool into the bottom corner.

A wonderful second goal. Brighton fans are in dreamland but once again Roberto de Zerbi stays calm, turning away from goal as he scratches his ear.
Jurgen Klopp has just called over Virgil van Dijk to pass on some instructions. The home side need a HUGE improvement to get back into this.
Fulham 0-1 Newcastle
By the way, Nathaniel Chalobah's eighth-minute red card is the fastest a player has been sent off in the English Premier League this season.
