Ryan: Ten Hag is undoubtedly a good manager, but I'm a little baffled at how Casemiro and Fred start for Brazil, arguably the best international team in the world currently, but don't start for Man United.

James: Eriksen is not a DCM & they keep playing him there, McTominay is inconsistent & the attackers have not had the ball or rarely got into the game! Should have started with Casemiro in there at least!

There's a strange feeling now. The game felt like it was gone for a few minutes, with neither team doing anything until Antony surprised everyone with that lovely strike. Will City pick up the tempo again or are United going to come back at them?

Even when Haaland gives the ball away, he's sprinting back. It's brilliant as a top player to have that work ethic. To build that culture that Guardiola has done with his players working off the ball, it's brilliant.

Better from United as they move it around the box trying to find an opening. It comes to Luke Shaw, who tries to slide in Jadon Sancho, but it's picked off by Joao Cancelo and it's at the feet of Erling Haaland seconds later.

Kevin de Bruyne and Erling Haaland, for once, don't quite get it right as the midfielder's ball into the channel is way too far for Haaland to chase.

Steve: Casemiro should have started. McTominay and Eriksen have been utter dross and that’s where we have lost this game. The midfield has been a total mess. They both need to be hauled off. Bad team selection today.

Nice driving run from Manuel Akanji through the centre. He finds Jack Grealish, who wins a corner for Manchester City.

Christian Eriksen wins it from Ilkay Gundogan in the middle but Joao Cancelo has it back within seconds and wins a foul off Bruno Fernandes.

Greg: Man City are on a different planet, Man Utd must wish they were anywhere else but here.

Bob: Feel bad for Man Utd, they have been hit by a Man City freight train, no team can live with Man City at the mo.

Seconds in and Manchester City have already tested David de Gea. Phil Foden takes it off Luke Shaw and tries to catch the keeper out at the near post from a tight angle but it's a comfortable save in the end.

David: The way he is going, Haaland is going to beat Alan Shearer's Premier League goalscoring record before Harry Kane!!

Peter: Haaland is a machine. He keeps on pumping out those goals. I was initially sceptical if he’d be able to perform in the PL, boy was I wrong.

Steve: I imagine Poch is drawing up his list of contractual requirements in preparation for the upcoming negotiations.

Marcelo Bielsa will always be a Leeds legend - the man who brought the club back to the big time after 16 seasons out of the top flight.

So replacing him was always going to be a difficult task, but Jesse Marsch, who came in at the end of February after the club sacked Bielsa, has done a great job.

This will be his 20th game in charge today and he's won seven, drew five and lost seven, keeping them in the Premier League with a final-day escape when they looked to be sliding to the Championship.

And the American, whose first home game at Elland Road was a 3-0 loss against today's opponents Aston Villa back in March, could not be happier with the job he has got.

"The togetherness here, the commitment from everyone involved is at the highest level I've ever seen," said Marsch on Friday. "So much so, for me, I don't want to leave. If I got an offer to go anywhere in the world right now to coach football I wouldn't leave this spot.

"I'm more happy in my career than I've ever been and I'm very thankful to be here and my total focus and our total focus is just trying to maximise what we're achieving every day."
