  5. 'Sean Dyche for Wolves'published at 20:12 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

Crystal Palace v Wolves (20:15 BST)

Former Wales defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Since Nuno [Espirito Santo] left, there has been concern around the football club. The speculation around it [the manager's position] doesn't help and you look at the names who are being linked with the job.

I would personally like to see Sean Dyche come in and change it up a little bit from what they have had with previous managers. Whether Sean would be interested in the job is another story but they have been struggling, conceding goals as well. They've conceded 12 goals this season so all over the pitch, scoring and defending, they've really been struggling.

The win against Forest on Saturday will only give them a little bit of confidence but I think the sooner the manager situation is sorted out at Wolves, the better for everyone.

Brighton were on the attack there!

I can understand Brighton's frustrations here.

He blew the whistle a little bit too quickly there.

Sulaimon: Brilliant football, no goals, that sums up Brighton's first-half so far.

Nika: Someone remind me how Nottingham Forrest got promotion to the big boys league? They can hardly make a pass ..

    Brighton 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Brighton are furious as referee Darren England stops play just as they are on the attack. Brennan Johnson is down with that ankle injury from a minute ago but it's not a head injury or anything.

That is fantastic play again down the left-hand side, working the ball from the right to the left.

If that ball had gone in either corner of the net it would have been 1-0 Brighton but it just went straight into Dean Henderson.

Brighton defender Adam Webster takes ball and ankle in a sliding tackle on Brennan Johnson. The Forest player grimaces but plays on.

    Brighton 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    It's 8-0 on shots. Wait, it's 9-0. And 10-0.

Leandro Trossard's first-time shot from 12 yards is saved by Dean Henderson, who bravely throws himself at Danny Welbeck's rebound.

  13. 'Palace looking to put on a show'published at 20:05 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

Crystal Palace v Wolves (20:15 BST)

    James Collins
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

I saw there was a lot of talk about Patrick Vieira taking them off [substituting Odsonne Edouard and Wilfried Zaha] in a game where they need a goal but here at Selhurst Park, I think they're a different animal with the crowd.

I haven't been back here since I was playing to look forward to this atmosphere and yes they have been struggling in front of goal but with this crowd behind them and Wolves have been defensive this season so Palace will be looking to put on a real show tonight.

It was set up perfectly for Leandro Trossard on the half-volley and it just rattled the crossbar

But the way that Brighton just broke there in the middle!

Brighton are turning up the pressure now. Solly March cuts in from the right and hammers a shot towards the near bottom corner but it's saved by Dean Henderson.

A good cross from Leandro Trossard but Adam Lallana's glancing header goes well. Half a chance.

  17. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:02 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    Brighton 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Brighton are inches away from taking the lead as Leandro Trossard chests the ball down on the corner of the box and hits a sweet half-volley which beats Dean Henderson and crashes off the bar.

That came at the end of a nice move involving Alexis Mac Allister, Adam Lallana and Danny Welbeck, whose shot was blocked.

  18. 'Nuno would give the football club a lift'published at 20:00 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

Crystal Palace v Wolves (20:15 BST)

    James Collins
Former Wales defender on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Wolves are without a manager with former boss Nuno Espirito Santo linked with a possible return to Molineux...

Nuno had a successful time when he was here before. He obviously left and I think it would be good for the club.

You don't often see managers come back to the club after they have left. The relationship that he had with the fans, the way they played their football under Nuno.

I think it wouldn't be a bad move getting him back in because you haven't got that time to wait really to get a new manager in, a fresh manager in with new ideas, so I don't think Nuno would be a bad move for the whole football club to lift the spirits around the place.

  19. Forest 'lack of communication'published at 19:59 British Summer Time 18 October 2022

    Brighton 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Steve Sidwell
Former Brighton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

It was well defended from Forest but definitely a lack of communication which resulted in Orel Mangala kicking it out.

Joel Veltman should do better here. A Brighton corner ends up at the feet of the Dutchman near the penalty spot and he hoofs it over the bar. He had time to do better.
