  1. CLOSE!published at 20:22 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Man Utd 0-0 Tottenham

Spurs nearly gift United the opener!

Hugo Lloris comes steaming off his line towards Marcus Rashford, but Matt Doherty gets there first.

But the interception falls for Antony all of 30+ yards out and the Brazilian's chipped effort is batted away by the France captain.

From the corner, United work a move to Fred a long way out, and his thunderous drive is pushed over the bar by a busy Lloris.

    Newcastle 1-0 Everton

    Alistair Magowan
BBC Sport at St James' Park

Anthony Gordon, fresh from a suspension because of five bookings, gets a yellow card on his return. Frank Lampard said he had spoken to Gordon about wracking up so many cards early in the season. Looks like he might need another word.

That was a fall-out typical of the playground. The small lads, Gordon and Kieran Trippier started it, and then the hard lads piled in one by one: Fabian Schar followed by JamesTarkowski followed by Dan Burn followed by Amadou Onana. Alas it was much ado about nothing.

Jordan Pickford and Trippier are having another chat on the way off the pitch. Maybe time for some half-time oranges, lads?

Comerdian and Spurs supporter Michael McIntyre is watching from the Old Trafford directors' box. Wonder will he have anything to smile about tonight? All straight-faced so far.

    Man Utd 0-0 Tottenham

But Spurs go to the other end and almost open the scoring in the first five minutes.

Central midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur gets forward and flashes a shot from the angle which bounces inches wide of the far post.

    Brentford 0-0 Chelsea

Not much to choose between these two so far.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Liverpool 1-0 West Ham

Phew. Everyone at Anfield needs a breather after that frantic finish. West Ham had a late corner, too, but Aaron Cresswell's delivery came to nothing.

Liverpool more than good value for their lead through Darwin Nunez, but a lapse of concentration from Joe Gomez almost allowed West Ham to sneak back level.

The Reds - particularly Gomez - have Alisson to thank once again.

  7. Postpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Man Utd 0-0 Tottenham

United have started on top, fizzing early passes in to the front men.

Antony sees a shot blocked after cutting in from the right then Diogo Dalot screws horribly wide while off balance on the edge of the box.

  8. Postpublished at 20:19 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Brentford 0-0 Chelsea

Chelsea wanted a penalty a few minutes back for handball against Rico Henry. They didn't get one.

Chelsea now want a penalty after Kai Havertz drops in the box, claiming he has been held by Ben Mee. They don't get this one, either.

  9. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:18 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Bournemouth 0-1 Southampton

The Saints lead at half-time thanks to Che Adams' third goal of the season.

Chris Mepham and Ainsley Maitland-Niles went into the book towards the end of the half after an altercation.

The latter was unhappy with a late, lunging tackle from the former and squared up to the Cherries man.

Referee John Brooks wasn't impressed with the tackle or Maitland-Niles' reaction and brandished both with a yellow card.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:17 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

Miguel Almiron's brilliant goal gives Newcastle a deserved lead at the break.

Bowen couldn't cope with the pressure from the Anfield crowd and the Liverpool players. Not a great penalty but it was a great save.

Bowen's penalty has not got great pace on it and it's at a lovely height for the keeper.

    Newcastle 1-0 Everton

That is booking number six of the season for Anthony Gordon. I think most of those have been for taking an unnecessary tumble.

  14. MISSED PENALTYpublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Liverpool 1-0 West Ham

    Saved!!

The long wait probably didn't help Jarrod Bowen, neither did seeing the Kop looming up in front of him.

The strike isn't too bad, but Alisson guesses the correct way and pushes away low to his right.

  15. KICK-OFFpublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Man Utd 0-0 Tottenham

And the final Premier League game of the night is under way at Old Trafford.

  16. YELLOW CARDpublished at 20:15 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Newcastle 1-0 Everton

    Now what's happened?

It is kicking off again with Anthony Gordon spitting venom, shoving and shouting in the face of Kieran Trippier.

It all comes from the Everton man taking a dive in the box following minimal contact from Dan Burn, thus angering the home side.

Gordon is booked, as is Fabian Schar - another of those who got riled up.

There is no need for Gomez to make that challenge, it was a silly challenge.

  18. PENALTY TO WEST HAMpublished at 20:14 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Liverpool 1-0 West Ham

Only going to be one outcome here... penalty!

Jarrod Bowen waits. Alisson tries to disrupt.

    Here we go...

  19. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 20:13 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Liverpool 1-0 West Ham

Oh hello! West Ham want a penalty after Joe Gomez appears to go through the back of Jarrod Bowen.

Stuart Attwell waves it away initially. But the VAR has a look and Attwell is going to the pitchside monitor...

  20. Nunez silences Hammers fanspublished at 20:12 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Liverpool 1-0 West Ham

    Neil Johnston
    BBC Sport at Anfield

Darwin Nunez has silenced the West Ham fans for now. They were calling him a rubbish* Andy Carroll moments before his goal.

His goal is Liverpool's 100th against West Ham in the Premier League era. It's also the 800th away goal the Hammers have conceded in their Premier League history.

    * It might have been a tad stronger than 'rubbish'...
