That's his third goal in four games.

Despite Tottenham’s best start to a season since 1963-64, there is work to be done.

Antonio Conte is trying to find the best way to introduce squad players into his starting line-up. He has tended to pick the same 16 players this season, with rotations coming in the same three positions: left wing-back, left centre-back and right-wing.

Speaking to 5 Live Sport the Spurs manager said he is starting to see some good signs.

"We are trying to make this squad stronger than last season, especially in the Champions League and Premier League," said the Italian. "We have to play Manchester United and Newcastle, and then a vital game in the Champions League [against Sporting Lisbon].

"We are trying to improve the squad with Richarlison and Bissouma. I am happy with Bissouma - he showed that now he is coming into our idea of football.

"I am happy with Matt Doherty because he played a really good game [against Everton] and came back like last season.

"It’s a positive situation but, at the same time, we have to have fingers crossed we don’t get more injuries."

Spurs are without the injured Richarlison and the suspended Emerson Royal for Wednesday's trip to Old Trafford. It’s a stadium Conte has never won at as a manager.

It's a good one too for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who times his run well to meet a corner but heads over. Kieran Trippier's presence was enough to put him off.

First of all, brilliant cross from the left hand side. It goes over Zouma's head, he looks like he's going to win it but Nunez is not going to be denied. A classic centre forward's header, heads it down to the far post. Anything Robertson can do, Tsimikas can do as well.

Amadou Onana is getting some rough treatment now after that little flare up with Wilson. Joelinton catches him late and is booked for it.

This is what Everton will want, though. Break the play up, delay it, stop Newcastle getting any momentum.

Manchester United

Manchester United are struggling to score goals, and there are signs it could become a real problem.

Erik ten Hag's side have won eight of their past 11 games since THAT collapse at Brentford in August - but six of them were only by a one-goal margin.

Results have been predominantly positive after a tough start to the campaign, but United have scored more than two goals in the same game just twice in the Premier League. And not much of the blame can be aimed at Ten Hag.

Patterns of play are helping form teasers of what the Dutchman is trying to do with this crop of players. United are controlling games when they need to and haven't lost their ability to counter either, but there's a growing issue in the final third.

United created big chances in both games against Omonia Nicosia and Newcastle last week, and rarely looked vulnerable at the back. But an agonising absence of clinical finishing almost resulted in a humiliating stalemate in midweek, and they weren't so lucky to be rescued by a stoppage-time winner on Sunday.

United must shake off that wastefulness with better final-third decision-making before it becomes costly.

Thiago loves the diag, doesn't he? Another to the Liverpool left finds the head of Kostas Tsimikas who diverts towards the West Ham goal, but the away defence clear for a corner.

Virgil van Dijk meets the delivery but it goes straight into the arms of Hammers keeper Lukasz Fabianski.

Once again, Firmino is picking up positions and West Ham just don't know where to go. You would think Declan Rice would be in there killing that space but Firmino is being really clever. He started off at centre forward beside Nunez and then just dropping off, finding a lot of space and he is really dangerous down there.

Bruno Guimaraes is at the heart of pretty much anything positive from the home side here. He tries to replace Miguel Almiron with a through ball but puts just a bit too much on it. Jordan Pickford is out to gather.

Anthony Gordon was well within his rights to think that was a foul after being taken out by Dan Burn. It's an interesting battle on Everton's right wing, with the Toffees player clearly quicker than his opponent, who continues at left-back tonight.

What response have we seen from Bournemouth? Any? Yes.

Philip Billing moves forward from midfield and gets onto a pass from which he forces a save.

Ah, he was offside anyway.

One man who does have to leave a game for good is Conor Gallagher, who limps out of this encounter to be replaced by Mateo Kovacic.

Not ideal for the Blues, or the England player. Hopefully that's not too serious.

That would have been one of the goals of the season from Nunez. He has just leathered it. He looked very sharp there as he got on to that quickly.

The direct route worked for Liverpool on Sunday - and it nearly pays dividends again.

Thiago sticks on the sat nav, finding the run of Darwin Nunez from inside his own half, allowing the £64m man to whack a thunderous first-time effort just over the bar.
