Is that the end of the World Cup dream? Dominic Calvert-Lewin has an injury and he's replaced by Neal Maupay.

Calvert-Lewin goes staight down the tunnel.

This is a double Everton change with Abdoulaye Doucoure replacing Andre Onana.

Brilliant from Mykolenko given the pressure he was under. He understands he wasn't going to catch Daka for pace and Pickford was rushing out of his goal but Mykolenko dealt with it really well.

  3. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 59 mins

    Everton 0-1 Leicester

James Maddison is so close to doubling Leicester's lead. He spins past Dwight McNeil outside the box, jinks in and curls a low shot of the outside of the post from 20 yards.

Since Brendan Rodgers' first Premier League game in charge of Leicester in March 2019, only Manchester City (21) have scored more goals from outside the box than the Foxes (20).

Players like James Maddison and Youri Tielemans help that.

    Everton 0-1 Leicester

Leicester keeper Danny Ward flaps at a corner and gets a free-kick as James Tarkowski had bundled into him. The home fans don't think that's a foul. But they wouldn't.

    Everton 0-1 Leicester

Leicester's Boubakary Soumare is a bit too nonchalant with a header back to his keeper from 20 yards out and Dominic Calvert-Lewin is only inches away from getting there.

Daka just hits it on the angle, I suspect he was expecting Pickford to hit him and that's why he tried to whack it so hard and get it out of his feet quickly. Another half chance for Leicester.

Good block by James Tarkowski to stop James Maddison. Now another Leicester chance as Patson Daka runs onto a long ball and hammers high and wide after Jordan Pickford races off his line.

That's a great chance from Calvert-Lewin but again Everton still can't get a goal. He'll be looking at that England squad and trying to get in. Brilliant ball through from Iwobi.

Huge chance for Everton but Danny Ward denies Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

DCL is played in by a nice Alex Iwobi through ball - one on one - but Leicester keeper Ward makes himself big to block the shot with his legs.

Quick VAR check for that Youri Tielemans incident but I think it hit his chest. No penalty remains the decision.

Everton win an early corner off James Maddison. Danny Ward deals with a couple of crosses and then home fans shout for a Youri Tielemans handball penalty. Not given.

Jordan: It only takes one mistake to concede, and Leicester are prone to those. Besides, football is about scoring goals.

Leicester have got themselves into really good positions, they haven't made the most of all of the chances they have had. Daka hasn't scored, but he has looked the liveliest player on the pitch for either side today.

It's 1-0, I think Brendan Rodgers would have been disappointed if they had gone it at 0-0 but happy with the play. He'll be feeling that this is the right score.
