It's a run in behind again by Oshimen, but Van Dijk never gives up and gets himself back on the line. What a piece of defending that is.

It could be 3-0 easily by now. Liverpool must be buzzing they're still in this.

It should be 2-0. Virgil van Dijk saves Liverpool.

Joe Gomez basically trips over the ball and lets Victor Osimhen chase away. He pulls it back for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who goes to roll the ball into an empty net... but Van Dijk has chased back and blocks it on the line.

Now Spurs do wake up and come forward for the first time.

Emerson Royal strangles a cross-come-shot to the back post which Ivan Perisic sends back over, but Pau Lopez is off his line to gather.

The Marseille goalkeeper has taken a nasty knock to the eye though and there's blood dripping.

Scrap that, Bayern Munich have taken the lead against Inter Milan in the San Siro.

It is former Manchester City winger Leroy Sane who has got the goal.

He latches onto a ball in behind the Inter defence, rounds the goalkeeper and slots home with his right foot from about 12 yards.

It is Sane's fourth goal of the season.

Marseille have made the more composed start here. knocking the ball about well and hurrying Spurs into mistakes. Antonio Conte's side have not gathered any momentum as yet.
