  1. 'Keep calm and trust in the process' - Van Bronckhorstpublished at 14:37 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

    Rangers v Dundee United (15:00)

Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst tells BBC Sportsound: "I'm really happy with Charlie McCann's development and he has really impressed in training. (Alfredo) Morelos is looking stronger but today I decided to go with Antonio (Colak).

"We have some missing and some new players but the squad is very strong.

"We have to stay calm and concentrate on the process, how we train and prepare, that's the most important thing.

"Of course, the results are important but sometimes you can get carried away in these moments. We must keep working hard to get the wins."

In terms of results, St Johnstone and Ross County haven't made the start to the Premiership season they had hoped for. But they'll both be in reasonably positive spirits as they prepare to line up against each other in Perth.

St Johnstone clicked in to gear with a 3-0 win over St Mirren last time out. New signing Nicky Clark marked his debut with a goal, while fellow new boy Connor McLennan made a real impact as a second-half substitute.

County have mustered just four points from their opening six matches, but that is a run of encounters that includes games against Celtic, Rangers and Hearts.

And, after a last-gasp draw against Aberdeen in their last outing, they'll be upbeat about their chances against a St Johnstone team they have lost to just once in their past 11 meetings.

  4. Gordon back for Saints, County's Akio rewardedpublished at 14:27 British Summer Time 17 September 2022

St Johnstone v Ross County (15:00)

After a 3-0 win against St Mirren last time, Saints boss Callum Davidson makes just one change. Graham Carey is missing from the squad and is replaced in the XI by captain Liam Gordon.

Malky Mackay makes three changes from the draw with Aberdeen. William Akio is rewarded for his late equaliser in that game with a start in attack, while Kazeem Olaigbe also comes in.

Yan Dhanda and Jordan Hiwula drop to the bench. Keith Watson also replaces Callum Johnson at full-back.

Dylan Bahamboula and Kurtis Guthrie make their first league starts, with Isma Goncalves and James Penrice dropping to the bench. Jack Fitzwater returns from suspension, but cannot displace Sean Kelly at the back.

Zach Hemming is back in goal for the visitors, with Christian Doidge making his Kilmarnock debut up top. He hasn't scored a Premiership goal in a full calendar year.

Jeriel Dorsett also returns from injury, with Rory McKenzie restored to the starting line-up. Sam Walker, Oli Shaw and Innes Cameron drop to the bench. Ash Taylor misses out through suspension after his red card against Hibs.
