GOAL - Man City 4-0 Copenhagenpublished at 21:11 British Summer Time 5 October 2022

    Riyad Mahrez (55 mins)

The goalkeeper points the way he's going to dive and follows through with it but Riyad Mahrez ignores him and goes the other way. A cool spot kick and it's job done for City with 55 minutes played.

  2. PENALTY - Man Citypublished at 21:10 British Summer Time 5 October 2022

    Man City 3-0 Copenhagen

Marko Stamenic pulls down Aymeric Laporte in the box as the corner comes in and it's an easy decision for the referee.

Riyad Mahrez to take with Erling Haaland off the pitch having been on two goals...

    Chelsea 1-0 AC Milan

Raheem Sterling plays a nice one-two with Mason Mount on the corner of the box but he's well marshalled by Fikayo Tomori in the box.

    Man City 3-0 Copenhagen

A great chance for Copenhagen! It's curled in from the right and Kristiansen is lurking at the back post. Aymeric Laporte just about gets there first and Ederson is alert to gather it in.

  6. CLOSE!published at 21:08 British Summer Time 5 October 2022

    Man City 3-0 Copenhagen

Another great save from Kamil Grabara. Cole Palmer fires it towards the top left corner and the Copenhagen keeper has to dive to push it away.

  7. KICK-OFFpublished at 21:07 British Summer Time 5 October 2022

    Chelsea 1-0 AC Milan

The second half begins at Stamford Bridge.

I believe this is only the second Champions League game Graham Potter has ever attended.

    Man City 3-0 Copenhagen

Cole Palmer has been bright since coming on. He's done a few neat tricks and just earned a corner with a rollover. The Copenhagen defenders already look frustrated.

Jack Grealish lays it off to Ilkay Gundogan. He's a long way out but has all the time in the world to pick his spot. He tries to curl it into the right corner but it lacks the power and is a comfortable save in the end.

Pep Guardiola has ruined the fun for everyone. Cole Palmer is on for Erling Haaland.

    No hat-trick for him today.

  14. Chelsea hold onpublished at 20:59 British Summer Time 5 October 2022

    Chelsea 1-0 AC Milan

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Stamford Bridge

Chelsea survive that late scare that should have put AC Milan level but manager Graham Potter will be reasonably satisfied with that first half performance.

Potter's side have had their chances but Milan's game plan must be obvious to them. Give the ball to Rafael Leao.

    Chelsea 1-0 AC Milan

    Matt Upson
Former England defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Rafael Leao has been Milan's stand out performer and the biggest threat to Chelsea.

It's a great save from Kepa but really that should be 1-1.

    HT: Man City 3-0 Copenhagen

"It's getting silly now," says Peter Crouch on BT Sport about Erling Haaland.

  18. Postpublished at 20:53 British Summer Time 5 October 2022

    HT: Sevilla 0-3 Borussia Dortmund

Jude Bellingham (19 years, 98 days) is the third-youngest player to captain a side in a Champions League match after Ruben Neves (18 years, 221 days) for Porto in 2015 and Matthijs de Ligt (19 years, 51 days) for Ajax in 2018.

With a goal and an assist in Seville already tonight, the armband clearly isn't weighing heavily on the English youngster.

His goal means he's become the youngest captain to score a CL goal, beating De Ligt, who was 19 years and 247 days old when he netted for Ajax in April 2019.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:52 British Summer Time 5 October 2022

    Chelsea 1-0 AC Milan

Chelsea lead at the break thanks to Wesley Fofana's first goal for the club. Sadly Fofana was later forced off because of injury.

  20. Postpublished at 20:52 British Summer Time 5 October 2022

    Chelsea 1-0 AC Milan

Milan have their first shots of the first half and they should be level.

Brilliant run by Rafael Leao to get into the box. Charles de Ketelaere forces a good save from Kepa and Rade Krunic's rebound effort is deflected over for a corner.
