That's as far as we go here this evening.

QPR end the night on top of the Championship after a 3-0 win over 10-man Cardiff but will boss Mick Beale still be in charge on Saturday?

He's been strongly linked with the vacancy at Premier League strugglers Wolves.

At the other end of the table Coventry beat out-of-sorts Sheffield United to climb off the foot of the table and consign Huddersfield to bottom spot.

We'll be back with more action from the EFL at 12:15 BST on Saturday.

    Thanks for your company. Cheers!

Scott Hogan's equaliser was his first goal since he scored a hat-trick in Birmingham's 3-2 win at West Brom on September 14.

    Millwall 3-0 Watford

Three goals for the home side, three goals for Tom Bradshaw and three defeats in four for lacklustre Watford.

This game was done and dusted inside 33 minutes as former Barnsley man Bradshaw claimed his first league hat-trick against a very charitable Watford defence.

It's three wins in a row for Gary Rowett's men now.

    Blackpool 1-3 Hull City

Hull City end their poor run of form with a comfortable win at Blackpool.

Goals from Ryan Longman, Greg Docherty and Regan Slater did the job.

The Tigers move three points clear of the relegation zone, while the Seasiders are just two points above the bottom three.

    Wigan 1-4 Middlesbrough

That's the way to get out of the relegation zone.

Middlesbrough's first away win of the season is an emphatic one, dazzling a Wigan side who took the lead and had beaten former Championship leaders Blackburn in their previous home game.

Hayden Hackney's first Championship strike deserves to be a goal of the season contender. The Latics, meanwhile, are 17th.

    Birmingham 1-1 Burnley

Burnley may feel like this is a defeat after they were briefly heading top through Johann Gudmundsson's curling strike from distance.

Birmingham are in decent form, though, and refused to be beaten, scoring a slick equaliser on the break through Scott Hogan's close-range finish 10 minutes from time.

Burnley are now third, a point behind the top two. Blues are in 14th and extend their unbeaten run to three matches.

  9. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:42 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Coventry 1-0 Sheff Utd

Big, big win for Coventry City.

Martyn Waghorn's late penalty is enough to give them three points to move off the bottom of the table.

The Blades are now winless in their past five.

    QPR 3-0 Cardiff

What a way to sign off if this is to be Wolves target Michael Beale's last game in the QPR technical area!

Cardiff, who are now 18th, were always on the back foot after going a goal and a man down early on.

Lyndon Dykes scored his second before the break and Kenneth Paal's laser-guided header put the icing on the Championship-topping cake in the second half.

QPR go above Blackburn on goal difference!

    Blackpool 1-3 Hull City

Into eight minutes of time added on at the end.

Can the home side mount an unlikely comeback?

Just over 20 minutes left to go in this one.

Wonder how many Watford fans have stuck around?

They saw their side go 3-0 down after Tom Bradshaw's hat-trick after just 33 minutes.

    Coventry 0-0 Sheff Utd

Gustavo Hamer sends a shot just over the crossbar as the home side go in search of what would almost certainly be a late winner.

  16. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 1-1 Burnleypublished at 21:28 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Scott Hogan (80 mins)

    Musical chairs at the top!

QPR go first as it stands as George Hall sends a low cross towards the near post from the right in one of his first involvements after coming on as a substitute.

The ball locates Scott Hogan, who fires past Arijanet Muric. Burnley's lead - and temporary time at the summit - lasted seven minutes!

  17. goal

GOAL: Blackpool 1-3 Hull Citypublished at 21:24 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Regan Slater (79 mins)

I did say I thought there'd be more goals in this one and now there is one!

Regan Slater's powerful shot takes a deflection and flies in.

Looks like the three points will be going back to East Yorkshire.

  18. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 21:24 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Coventry 0-0 Sheff Utd

Oli McBurnie hits the post as the away side push for a late winner.

  19. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 0-1 Burnleypublished at 21:24 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Johann Gudmundsson (74 mins)

All change at the top of the table!

Emmanuel Longelo loses possession with a heavy touch outside Birmingham's penalty area on Burnley's right.

Joey Gudmundsson still has a huge task to score from here but he curls a screamer over the beaten John Ruddy and into the top far corner of the net.

That puts Burnley on course to go top instead of QPR!

  20. Postpublished at 21:20 British Summer Time 19 October 2022

    Blackpool 1-2 Hull City

I said at half-time in this one that I thought there'd be more goals after the break...

Looks like that was a poor prediction.

    Fifteen minutes to go.

Can the Tigers hold out for a big three points?
