    Burnley 0-0 Norwich City

A beautiful bit of footwork from Burnley's Nathan Tella, working the ball left-to-right between, fires a low shot on goal from outside the box that bounces just wide.

It was never going-in but the Norwich keeper Angus Gunn is forced into a dive to cover the chance.

A feisty start from Burnley who make a good move on goal but Norwich are able to repel the attack and clear.

    Burnley 0-0 Norwich City

We're underway, so there's no better time to hit you with a few stats to get us going.

Burnley haven't lost at Turf Moor in the Championship yet this season. Whilst there is little to separate their home and away form, if we get out the magnifying glass, we can see the Clarets have more wins and score more goals away from home.

Meanwhile, Norwich concede less goals on the road but score fewer as well.

    Coventry 0-0 Rotherham

Martyn Waghorn pulled up a little gingerly after that half chance - and he can't shrug it off.

    Kasey Palmer takes his place.

    An early blow for Coventry.

    Coventry 0-0 Rotherham

Early action on the banks of the M6.

First for Rotherham as Cohen Bramall sends a dangerous ball across the six-yard box but no-one can get on the end of it.

Then half chances for the hosts as Martyn Waghorn and Jamie Allen have shots blocked.

There's a bit of a gap opening up in League One with 10 points separating leaders Plymouth from Peterborough in fourth.

Although Argyle only drew at Bristol Rovers on Saturday, their unbeaten run now stretches to 11 games, and they will be looking for three points at home tonight against Shrewsbury.

Second-placed Ipswich are away at Port Vale after overcoming Derby on Friday evening, while it is Gary Caldwell's turn to take on the Rams this evening in a tough away test for his debut as the new Exeter City boss - the first ever league meeting between the clubs.

At the bottom, MK Dons travel to Charlton, having lost their last five matches, while Morecambe are at Cheltenham and hoping for another positive result following their home win over Barnsley at the weekend.

Leyton Orient celebrate a goal against CarlisleImage source, Rex Features

Following draws in their previous two games, Leyton Orient resumed normal service on Saturday with a 3-2 victory at Carlisle to move to the top of the League Two table.

They are one point clear of Stevenage ahead of tonight's home game against Gillingham, while Boro - whose manager Steve Evans was sent off in their home loss to Northampton - travel to Doncaster.

Those were the only two games to end in wins for the away team on Saturday, so will we see more success for those on the road tonight?

Graeme Coughlan made a winning start to life as Newport County boss as they beat Colchester and faces up to one of his old clubs this evening as they take on Nigel Clough's Mansfield, whose seven-match unbeaten run was ended by a 3-2 defeat at Crawley.

    Coventry v Rotherham (19:45 BST)

The Sky Blues make three changes from Saturday's victory at Stoke.

Striker Martyn Waghorn, Man City loanee Callum Doyle and midfielder Ben Sheaf all come into the side - and Scottish defender Michael Rose makes his 100th appearance for the club.

For Rotherham, it's five changes from the side beaten at home by Hull.

Grant Hall, Cameron Humphreys and Hakeem Odoffin all make the starting XI, along with Cohen Bramall and Georgie Kelly.

The Millers are making a first trip to Coventry since 2013.

  16. Burnley aim to extend unbeaten run and claim top spotpublished at 19:27 British Summer Time 25 October 2022

Burnley v Norwich City (20:00 BST)

Vincent Kompany's Burnley are unbeaten at Turf Moor so far this Championship seasonImage source, Getty Images

Burnley are in fine form and can extend their unbeaten run to 14 with a win or draw tonight - but Norwich, who have lost three of their last five, can take some confidence from the tale of the tape on their long coach journey to Turf Moor.

Most recently, the Canaries are unbeaten in their last two league matches against the Clarets with a win and a draw.

But look further back and its Burnley who've dominated the matchup and the last time these two sides met outside of the top flight in February 2011, the Clarets were victorious in a 2-1 win.

Maybe I am overcooking it a little (it must be that energy drink I just had) but either way while it's still early in the season and neither side needs to panic if it goes sideways tonight.

Vincent Kompany's side will know they can go top of the Championship with a win and preventing them doing so is all the carrot Norwich need as they aim to get back on track. Let's go!

  17. Can Coventry continue their revival?published at 19:23 British Summer Time 25 October 2022

    Coventry v Rotherham (19:45 BST)

Coventry's Gustavo HamerImage source, Rex Features

What a 10 days it's been for Coventry - on the field at least.

Three wins in a row has lifted them off the foot of the Championship table and they could move out of the relegation zone with another victory this evening.

Questions remain about the future of the Coventry Building Society Arena after the demise of Wasps but on the field, for the moment, things are heading in the right direction for the Sky Blues.

Rotherham were making headway towards the play-off spots with back-to-back victories, but that progress was checked with a 4-2 home defeat to Hull on Saturday.

Victory for the Millers would send them back to the fringes of the top six but they've only won once away from home this season.

Hello and thanks for joining us on this unseasonably mild night for another evening of football from across the EFL.

We've got two matches in the Championship and a whole host of fixtures in League One, League Two and the National League.

Burnley host Norwich in what should be a spicy affair with the Clarets in with a shout of going top of the Championship with a win.

Forget that Coventry are third from bottom in the league table, they've won their last three games, and could be a pre-Halloween bogeyman when they host 12th placed Rotherham.

Get your dinner washed down with a cuppa and lock yourself in because it's time for some Tuesday fun.
