    Bristol City 1-0 Swansea

Swansea won this fixture 1-0 last time they came to Ashton Gate but they've never beaten Bristol City away from home twice in a row.

As yet no goals in the first few minutes of this second half. They've lost just twice in their past nine games. Will that be three in 10 come full-time?

    West Brom 0-2 Sheff Utd

Adam Davies is now called into action as he pushes behind a decent effort from Matt Phillips.

More like it from the Baggies.

  3. Postpublished at 13:11 British Summer Time 29 October 2022

    West Brom 0-2 Sheff Utd

Grady Diangana resorts to shooting from more than 25 yards and it is goes a couple of yards wide at least. That was tame.

Blades goalkeeper Adam Davies won't be worried by that.

This is a big game for the Welshman as he will have an eye on a place in his country's squad for next month's World Cup.

    West Brom 0-2 Sheff Utd

West Brom have had a number of long throws which Darnell Furlong has launched into the box, but Sheffield United have seen them out with not too many alarms.

From open play, there has been virtually nothing.

Around 10 minutes to go until half-time.

  5. SECOND HALFpublished at 13:05 British Summer Time 29 October 2022

    Bristol City 1-0 Swansea

Back under way at Ashton Gate.

Bristol City lead but can Swansea force an equaliser? The Swans have made a chance, with Ryan Manning coming on for Nathan Wood.

    West Brom 0-2 Sheff Utd

Considering both these teams came down together from the Premier League in May 2021, there feels like a gulf between them right now.

Sheffield United are in their customary 3-5-2 and their way of playing is second nature. West Brom are lacking that identity, hence why they have just got a new manager in.

Sulaimon Adelekan: This is West Brom's worst start to a season in a long while and at the moment there is no sign of redemption. Their home form has been very poor, just 1 win.

    Oli McBurnie (23 mins)

    Lethal stuff from the Blades!

Tremendous work from the front two may have already won this game for Sheffield United.

Great skill from Iliman Diaye as he takes a ball down near halfway, goes past two defenders and then lays it off to strike partner Oli McBurnie.

He sets himself and curls a lovely low finish past Alex Palmer from just outside the area for his seventh of the season.

  9. Postpublished at 12:54 British Summer Time 29 October 2022

    West Brom 0-1 Sheff Utd

Little sign of West Brom getting back into things and The Hawthorns has gone very quiet.

A Taylor Gardner-Hickman cross goes to nobody at the far post and it is greeted with a few groans. West Brom supporters have become wearily accustomed to this.

  10. HALF-TIMEpublished at 12:48 British Summer Time 29 October 2022

    Bristol City 1-0 Swansea

The first half comes to an end at Ashton Gate.

An entertaining first 45 minutes but it's Bristol City who lead Swansea courtesy of Tommy Conway's strike.

  11. Soft underbellypublished at 12:47 British Summer Time 29 October 2022

    West Brom 0-1 Sheff Utd

That is the eighth time West Brom have given a goal away in the first 15 minutes. That is the definition of a soft underbelly.

It's massive cliche but the first goal is so important and West Brom are putting themselves under pressure almost from the off.

    Iliman Ndiaye (11 mins)

Sheffield United only need one chance to tell Carlos Corberan how much work needs doing at The Hawthorns.

Tommy Doyle's pass catches the Baggies defence square and from George Baldock's low cross, Oli McBurnie could score, but Iliman Ndiaye does from six yards.

Back in the team and back with a goal.

    Bristol City 1-0 Swansea

Is this where the Swansea fightback begins against Bristol City?

Harry Darling and Ollie Cooper both have chances on goal but they can't quite work it past Robins keeper Max O'Leary.

  14. Postpublished at 12:40 British Summer Time 29 October 2022

    West Brom 0-0 Sheff Utd

First meaningful goalmouth action as Matt Phillips gets away down the right. He advances into the box and could probably go for goal, but he looks for a team-mate in the middle and scuffs his ball across.

Bit of a let off for the Blades, there. That should have finished in an attempt on goal.

  15. Changes up top for Sheff Utdpublished at 12:36 British Summer Time 29 October 2022

    West Brom 0-0 Sheff Utd

It sounds bizarre but struggling West Brom have actually taken more points from the last six games than Sheffield United - four to the Blades' three.

Paul Heckingbottom has shaken up his front line to try to find a response. Oli McBurnie and Iliman N'Diaye are in and Rhian Brewster and Billy Sharp have dropped to the bench.

  16. Robins knocking Swans out of their stridepublished at 12:33 British Summer Time 29 October 2022

    Bristol City 1-0 Swansea

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at Ashton Gate

Bristol City have the lead thanks to their willingness to press high and put pressure on Swansea City.

As is usually the case when Swansea are in action, Russell Martin's side have had plenty of possession.

But it is the hosts who have carved all the big chances, all of which have come when Swansea have given the ball away.

Tommy Conway's eighth of the season came courtesy of a cool finish, although Swansea will argue referee Andre Marriner missed a foul by Antoine Semenyo on Harry Darling in the lead-up to the goal.

  17. KICK-OFFpublished at 12:31 British Summer Time 29 October 2022

    West Brom 0-0 Sheff Utd

The dawn of the Carlos Corberan era at West Brom begins.

More of the same or a revamp for the Baggies?

  18. Blades need to rediscover winning steelpublished at 12:27 British Summer Time 29 October 2022

West Brom v Sheff Utd (12:30 BST)

Sheffield United are a perfect demonstration on how life in the Championship works. When the league stopped for the international break in September, the Blades were flying high. Three points clear of the rest with seven wins from the previous nine, Paul Heckingbottom’s side were looking strong bets for automatic promotion.

Since the start of October, however, it has been far from plain sailing. The Blades are six games without a win with three draws and three losses including defeats in their last two road trips.

Currently fourth, they want to get back to winning ways sharpish before a mini-slump turns into something more damaging.

Bristol City are ahead against Swansea and it's come via Tommy Conway.

He works onto Nahki Wells' ball and tucks home inside the box with a low shot.

    Game on!

  20. GREAT SAVE!published at 12:24 British Summer Time 29 October 2022

    Bristol City 0-0 Swansea

Huge chance for Bristol City to take the lead.

Nahki Wells picks up the ball again, this time from Alex Scott, but his effort forces a save from Steven Benda.

Both sides performing well so far.
