Harry Kane gets his first Champions League goal of the season and Spurs have come from behind to lead.

The keeper goes the right way but Kane's penalty is too good. Expert.

That looked like it should be a penalty in real time. It was a pretty special run by Kane and he was taken out in the box. The Spurs bench and players were convinced at the time too. Penalty to Tottenham after a VAR check

A strong penalty appeal from Spurs here. Harry Kane barges his way into the box and is shoved over by Kristijan Jakic. It's not given but...

VAR is getting involved and the referee goes to the screen to see.

  11. Guendouzi puts Marseille aheadpublished at 20:25 British Summer Time 12 October 2022

    Sporting Lisbon 0-1 Marseille

A couple of penalties across Europe. In Group B, Bayer Leverkusen, losing 1-0 at home to Porto, had a great chance to equalise but Kerem Demirbay had his effort saved by Porto keeper Diogo Costa.

But ex-Arsenal midfielder Matteo Guendouzi has made no mistake from 12 yards out for Marseille, away at Sporting Lisbon in Group D - Tottenham's group.

Sporting will also have to play for 71 minutes with only 10 men after Ricardo Esgaio got two yellow cards in three minutes.

Spurs have a free-kick now, for a Sebastian Rode handball seconds after that penalty appeal.

Harry Kane steps up... and shoots well over the bar. It was about 25 yards out.

That combination strikes again! There's been a few occasions when Kane has been close to finding Son and it worked that time.

  14. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 21 mins

    Tottenham Hotspur 1-1 Eintracht Frankfurt

Spurs want a penalty now. Brilliant feet by Son Heung-min in the box and he nutmegs Daichi Kamada and goes down.

No foul by Kamada though, he just stood still.

    Son Heung-min

    They're happier now!

You don't even need to ask who set this up.

Harry Kane gets the ball in midfield and plays a perfect through ball to Son Heung-min.

The South Korean takes a couple of touches on the edge of the box and side-foots into the bottom corner.

There hadn't been any clearcut chances in the game up until that goal. A big mistake to make at the back and it was so easy for Kamada once the ball had been played to him.

  20. Bayern heading into the last 16published at 20:17 British Summer Time 12 October 2022

    Viktoria Plzen 0-2 Bayern Munich

Ex-Liverpool man Sadio Mane put Bayern Munich ahead away in the Czech Republic against Viktoria Plzen, with Thomas Muller quickly adding a second a few minutes later. Bayern have won their three previous games in Group C and will qualify with a win.

Elsewhere, in the same group, Barcelona, who will be unable to qualify if they lose, are drawing 0-0 at home to Inter Milan but Robert Lewandowski has had a header cleared off the line for Barca.
