West Ham scored first, then Brighton went 3-1 up, then 5-2 up, then suddenly it was 5-4.

There were nine added minutes in the end. West Ham went close to equalising but Brighton held on to bounce back from that 8-0 loss to Tottenham last week, which was followed by Hope Powell's exit.

    Phew.

    Anita Asante
Former England defender on BBC Red Button

Frida Maanum is an all-round midfielder. She's got the physique, physicality and she can do the box to box work. She likes to play as a number 10 where she can be slightly more creative. She has the vision and can link with the players.

But she's not afraid to get herself in positive positions.

    Jorja Fox (71 mins)

    She's just come on!

I hadn't even had the chance to report Jorja Fox replacing Kayleigh Green two minutes ago, and she's added a fifth.

Carter's cross was parried into her path and she made no mistake with the finish!

    Her first Brighton goal.

    Arsenal

Frida Maanum on BBC Red Button: "It's a good day to win and good to get four goals as a team and we keep building. I think the [squad effort] is a big strength in our team and we have different goalscorers.

"As you can see, I play more as a number 10 this season. I am a bit higher up on the pitch where I like to be and like to be in goalscoring positions. Miedema is a brilliant player and it's tough to compete against her. At the same time, I'm just trying to do my best and do everything I can in training. We know it's tight and need to win every game. Today was a tough game against Leicester and we are just focusing on every game to try and win it. I am just enjoying my football and love to play football which you can probably see that outside of the pitch.

"I think we have strengthen this team and have a competitive squad. You can see it out there. We've changed a lot of players in every game. I think we are doing well as a team and I think we just need to build on that and keep winning."
