    Maanum strikes!

That one caused Ramsey to backtrack. Great effort from distance.

  9. Postpublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2022

    Arsenal 1-0 Everton

Lots of these half chances coming and going for Arsenal. The story of their game so far.

They're ahead, so it's all fine, but Everton are still here. They need a cutting edge to kill off the resistance.

  10. Postpublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2022

    Leicester 0-2 Chelsea

Leicester are given a chink of light with a free-kick inside the Chelsea half, but it is a long way out.

The ball is stood up into the Chelsea box but Millie Bright heads it confidently away.

If the home side are to get any joy, you imagine it will come from set-pieces.

  11. Postpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2022

    Arsenal 1-0 Everton

Miedema picks the ball up centrally around 20 yards from goal.

    Nice volley from Jen Beattie!

    It isn't troubling Ramsey, though.

  13. Postpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2022

    Arsenal 1-0 Everton

There's a real nervous tension emanating from the home fans.

With Man Utd winning earlier and Chelsea firmly in control at Leicester, they need to win here.

A counter-attack by Everton gave Arsenal a scare just then.

  15. Postpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2022

    Leicester 0-2 Chelsea

Leicester are at sixes and sevens at the back again but this time Chelsea are unable to capitalise.

Twice Sam Kerr gets in behind the Foxes defence but, after the first move breaks down, she puts her second chance just wide of the post.

The home side have lost all nine fixtures so far in the WSL this season, that run does not look to be changing any time soon.

  16. CLOSE!published at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2022

    Arsenal 1-0 Everton

    Another chance missed from Arsenal.

Clever cross from Lia Walti is met by Katie McCabe, but she blazes over.

The more chances go begging, the more nerves will grow.

Somehow it is still only 1-0...

  19. Postpublished at 15:11 Greenwich Mean Time 3 December 2022

    Leicester 0-1 Chelsea

Guro Reiten's goal maintains Chelsea's run of scoring in 10 consecutive away games in the WSL.

A victory at Leicester today would move Emma Hayes' side back up to the top of the WSL, restoring a three-point lead over Manchester United and Arsenal, having played a game more.
