It's amazing what a goal can do for any side. We see that with this Villa side now, they are trying to be aggressive in and out of possession.

In the Championship, Burnley have gone top with a 3-0 win over rivals Blackburn.

Blackburn would have gone top if they'd won.

Aston Villa are looking very nervous and shaky at the back. There's not much communication there. An early shout sorts it out.

It seems as if they are stuttering a little bit and not dealing with danger quickly enough.

Brighton play it short, mess around a bit and then are penalised for offside.

Brighton have a corner now, but it should be a goal-kick. What can Solly March do with this?

Ings showed composure there. He gestured to the Brighton fans as soon as he scored, telling them to calm down. Sanchez dove the right way, he tried to get a hand to it, but the power took it into the back of the net.

Good response from Aston Villa. It was a horrendous start but they seem clam and composed now. Brighton just sitting off the ball but they know when they want to press, they will all do it in numbers at the same time and drive at that Villa backline explosively.

Good move from Villa as Jacob Ramsey keeps the ball in by the touchline and feeds Danny Ings with a perfect through ball. Ings tries to square it but a Brighton defender hacks it away.

Spooky was overegging it. Coincidence though.
