Trossard just seems as if he is protecting himself or playing within himself. That little magician that we are used to isn't here today.

Good play from Brighton down the left hand side, bit of quality on it and it should have been a Brighton goal.
Brighton 1-2 Aston Villa
Leandro Trossard's cross is deflected and then headed away by Tyrone Mings. Albion really haven't created much here.

Funny how Villa suddenly look a decent side....seems Gerrard might have been the problem.

Brighton haven't had a shot on target since the 49th second of this game when they scored. They have only had one other effort off target or blocked in this whole match.

Danny Ings has scored four goals in his last four Premier League appearances, as many as in his previous 26 games combined.
Only against Everton (six) has Ings scored more times in the Premier League than he has against Brighton (five).

The Brighton sub is subbed. Julio Enciso, who came on early doors for Adam Lallana, is replaced by Joel Veltman. Deniz Undav is on for Danny Welbeck too.

I thought the chance had gone with how hard Cash fired that ball back into the area. Buendía did really well to get his head to it and it ricocheted off the post.
Then Brighton regain possession and you think just clear your lines, don't play back into danger. Turn away, take the ball away and just run up the pitch. Brighton, we know they play with risk and reward.
Danny Ings gave Lewis Dunk the chop, Dunk slid in after three seconds which made Ings' mind up. It was a deflection that took it past Sanchez in the end but that was fantastic play from Aston Villa.
Brighton 1-2 Aston Villa
There seems to be a bit of doubt if the first goal was Danny Ings' 99th or 100th league goal.
There's no doubt he's reached the landmark now.
Brighton 1-2 Aston Villa
Brighton's Moises Caicedo is booked for a foul from behind on Emiliano Buendia.
Brighton 1-2 Aston Villa
The ball hit Levi Colwill on its way in but that's definitely Danny Ings' goal.
Danny Ings
Danny Ings gets his second and Villa lead.
Matty Cash finds Emiliano Buendia with a cross and the Argentine heads off the post.
Brighton make a mess of playing the ball out and Alexis Mac Allister loses it.
Ings cuts inside Lewis Dunk, who commits himself too easily, and then slots the ball through Levi Colwill's legs and in.
Brighton 1-1 Aston Villa
Good defending by Levi Colwill, making his first Premier League start today, as he guides a ball out of play under pressure.
The 19-year-old is on loan at Brighton from Chelsea.

I know Ten Hag quite well because he was the coach of the second team at Bayern Munich for a long time. He was still the same back in the days like he is right now. He loves football, he loves so much football but he wants to win and to control the team.
He knows how to give the players confidence, putting them in the right position and letting them play. He has a structure and I think United needs a good structure to be successful and to get back to being one of the best teams in Europe.
Brighton 1-1 Aston Villa
A waste of a nice shot. Leandro Trossard fouls Matty Cash as he spins round with the ball. The whistle goes so he knows this wouldn't count as he hits a half-volley from 20 yards off the underside of the crossbar and in.
