  1. Mission improbable for Europa League hopes

    Napoli v Rangers (20:00)

    Rangers could lose and still technically be in the hunt for third place - but only if Ajax lose at home to Liverpool. However, such a scenario would leave Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side needing to win by five against the Dutch at Ibrox in the last round of fixtures since they lost 4-0 in Amsterdam.

    Realistically, Rangers must hope Ajax don't win and then better whatever they do, which would set up a winner-takes-third game at Ibrox.

  2. Tough Italian job for Rangers

    Napoli v Rangers (20:00)

    Rangers have lost all four matches so far in a brutally difficult Champions League group and it doesn't get any easier tonight with a daunting trip to Naples.

    The hosts sit atop Group A and Serie A and are in form hotter than the steam coming from Mount Vesuvius.

    The visitors cannot progress in this tournament, but there is still an outside chance of finishing third and dropping into the Europa League.
