  8. Hornets and Hull to followpublished at 14:00 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2022

    QPR 0-2 Burnley

As the players take a breather at Loftus Road, a reminder that this is the first of a double bill in the Championship.

At 15:00 GMT, attention will move north to Hertfordshire where Watford are playing Hull City.

Victory would take the Hornets from sixth to third, while Liam Rosenior's Hull need points as they are just one clear of the bottom three.

GOAL QPR 0-2 Burnleypublished at 13:48 Greenwich Mean Time 11 December 2022

    Ian Maatsen (45+2 mins)

Is this the decisive blow for Burnley?

Right-back Vitinho fizzes a strike which produces a good save from Seny Dieng, and the first man to react is left-back Ian Maatsen inside the box, who emphatically volleys the rebound home.

    Total football from the Clarets!

    QPR 0-1 Burnley

Andre Dozzell and Jack Cork go for a full-blooded challenge and Dozzell comes off worse.

The QPR man needs a bit of treatment.

    QPR 0-1 Burnley

Loftus Road, which can be rocking at the best of times, is very quiet.

The game is being played at Burnley's tempo. No real chances to add to their lead yet, though.

    QPR 0-1 Burnley

That chance for Chris Willock was only the second time a QPR player has touched the ball in Burnley's box.

They are finding it hard to get the ball and so cannot get the visitors under sustained pressure.

    QPR 0-1 Burnley

Great chance for Chris Willock to equalise!

Ethan Laird gets forward from right-back and finds an excellent ball to Willock just inside the area.

But from 15 yards, and with no Burnley player near him, Willock puts it over the bar.

By far QPR's best moment of the game.

  16. Postpublished at 28 mins

    QPR 0-1 Burnley

That goal was Burnley's 41st of the Championship season.

No team in the top four divisions of English football has scored more league goals this season, with League One leaders Ipswich having netted the same amount. Prolific.

    QPR 0-1 Burnley

    What have QPR got now?

They have not yet had a shot and are struggling to get up the pitch. For now, they really need to just stay in the game.

    Johann Berg Gudmundsson (19 mins)

    The breakthrough for the leaders.

An outstanding free-kick from Johann Berg Gudmundsson puts Burnley in front as he whips it left-footed over the wall and into the far corner.

Seny Dieng did not even move.

But QPR will feel aggrieved about the award of the free-kick as Jack Cork went down on the edge of the box with very little contact from Andre Dozzell.

  19. Postpublished at 17 mins

    QPR 0-0 Burnley

The visitors have really set their stall out here. They are dominating possession and playing in the QPR half.

No chances since that one for Nathan Tella in the first 45 seconds, though.
