    QPR 0-0 Luton

Harry Cornick launches a long throw-in to the QPR box as Luton chase the first goal of the game.

Carlton Morris is unmarked and attempts an acrobatic high volley in front of the face of goal but it's dealt with by Seny Dieng.

  2. Postpublished at 4 mins

    QPR 0-0 Luton

Allan Campbell looks to put a through ball into the QPR box as Luton attack.

The Rs sheepishly deflect the ball back to him but he's dispossessed soon after and the hosts break upfield and put a ball into the box which flies across the face of goal.

QPR once again get a ball into the Luton box not long after but the visitors deal with the danger.

End to end stuff early on.

  6. Can QPR end 2022 on a high?published at 17:55 Greenwich Mean Time 29 December 2022

    QPR v Luton (18:00 GMT)

We kick off tonight's action in the EFL with QPR taking on Luton.

The Rs are unbeaten in their past 14 home league games against the Hatters, with that run stretching back to October 1984.

QPR have lost three on the bounce at home heading into tonight's game and will be hoping to bring that run to an end in their final game of 2022.

Luton, on the other hand, don't have a stellar record in the capital having recorded 11 losses from their past 12 away games against London sides.

It's Thursday, apparently. I've had to check that more than once, however I am more lebkuchen than man at the minute.

Anyway, there's more action to get stuck into during crimbo limbo.

We've got a festive feast of football across the English Football League, beginning with QPR v Luton.

That gets going in just a few minutes' time.
