It’s the first-ever competitive meeting between Rovers and Talbot at Starks Park.
This is the Ayrshire side's 10th season in the competition and, since their debut in 2009-10, they have reached the fourth round twice and fifth round once.
On all three occasions, including last season, they’re run has been ended by Hearts.

Greenock Morton v Queen of the South (15:00)
An interesting clash at Cappielow, where midfielder Rico Quitongo, who this week lost a race discrimination case against Airdrieonians, plays against brother Jai, the Morton forward.
Alex Docherty
There's already the whiff of an upset in Glasgow.
Midfielder Alex Docherty has fired seventh-tier Drumchapel into the lead at the start of the second half of the early kick off against League 1 promotion hopefuls Edinburgh.

I tell you what, it is certainly a blowy day in Fraserburgh.
However, both teams are used to these conditions and should certainly be able to handle the gusts that are swirling around.

A dour, driech, drizzly day at Firhill. Not good news for the group of supporters by the canal who're protesting against the fan ownership model adopted by the club.
The five trustees of the PTFC Trust now own nearly 75% of the shares.
A significant section of the home support are not happy at all and some of them are planning to make their feelings known by coming to the ground but not coming in, and supporting from outside, as they did during lockdown.
Horrible day not to be under cover mind.

For those of you who like to go in search of a little bit of Scottish Cup magic, you may well have cast a few glances towards Bellslea Park, where reigning Highland League champions Fraserburgh host Championship strugglers Arbroath.
On paper, it should be Arbroath that progress, but there are plenty of reasons to suggest we could see a surprise.
First of all, Fraserburgh will be going into the game full of confidence. Although fourth in the Highland League, they haven’t lost a league game since the start of September and they’ve already claimed an SPFL scalp on their way to the third round.
That came in the form of League 2 Stranraer, who they saw off 2-1 here.
After going close to promotion last season, Arbroath have found the going a whole lot harder this time round and are second from bottom in the second tier having won just one of their last nine games.
This has all the ingredients of being a pretty tasty tie.

This is what the Scottish Cup is all about - a famous old junior side eager to inflict a scalp on one of the SPFL's established sides.
Talbot are no strangers to ruffling feathers mind. Last season, on their way to being knocked out by Hearts in the fourth-round, Tommy Sloan's side defeated Hamilton 1-0.
A couple years back on their way to reaching the fifth-round for the only time so far, Craig McCracken's header nodded local rivals Ayr United out in one of the biggest upsets in recent years.
Sloan has been in charge since 2003 - I was two at the time.
I was here last week to take in Rovers' 5-2 defeat at the hands of Queen's Park and, in one of the most bizarre games I have witnessed, despite shipping five, Ian Murray's men were dominant and lively.
They'll be keen to avoid another red-face result against the Ayrshire visitors.

This is the round when Scotland's second-tier sides join in and the draw has been kind to most.
Accies, Dundee, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, Greenock Morton, Partick Thistle and Raith Rovers all have home ties.
In-form Queen's Park are away to a Peterhead side sitting bottom of League 1 and without a win in 10 outings.
Arbroath could be in most danger of an upset, with Dick Campbell's side having won just once in nine outings as they visit Fraserburgh, who sit fourth in the Highland League.

Stranraer v Annan Athletic (15:00)
There's one tie in the Scottish Professional Football League today between two sides already out of the cup.
Stranraer can move up from sixth to fourth in League 2, and level with third-top Elgin City on points, should they win at home to eighth-placed Annan Athletic. If the visitors secure a third consecutive away win, they will move above their hosts.
Rangers are in talks with Michael Beale about the Englishman becoming their new manager.
Beale, who was assistant to Steven Gerrard at Ibrox, is currently in charge of Championship side Queens Park Rangers.

With Hamilton being at home, their tenants at the ZLX Stadium, League 1 side Clyde, have had their tie against Dumbarton from the division below pushed back to 19:45.
The rest of today's cup ties kick off at the more usual 15:00.
Drumchapel United 0-0 FC Edinburgh
There's already one cup game under way today, with Drumchapel United against Edinburgh having kicked off at 13:30 GMT.
The team sitting ninth in the 16-team seventh-tier West of Scotland League First Division are currently goalless with the League 1 promotion chasers.
FT: Open Goal Broomhill 1-2 Alloa Athletic
One team are already through to the fourth round, with Alloa Athletic avoiding a mini shock by scoring a stoppage-time penalty to dispose of Open Goal Broomhill.
Midfielder Luke Donnelly put the League 1 side ahead after 30 minutes, but former Rangers centre-half Kirk Broadfoot replied with 11 minutes remaining for the side sitting mid table in the fifth-tier Lowland League.
However, full-back Scott Taggart ended the Cumbernauld-based side's hopes from the penalty spot.
