It was a very good day for Championship leaders Burnley as they roared back from a goal down to beat Middlesbrough 3-1 and ensure they will be the second tier's Christmas number one.

West Brom secured a fifth successive win and Swansea came back from 3-0 down to draw 3-3 at Coventry in an action-packed day in the Championship.

Four games in League One fell foul of the frozen pitch, Plymouth will be pleased they got their game on as they claimed a 2-1 win over lowly Morecambe to go top thanks to Ipswich's 1-0 loss at Wycombe.

The freezing weather laid waste to 10 of the 12 games in League Two but leaders Leyton orient did play and their 2-0 win over Sutton means they are a whopping 16 points clear of fourth-placed Swindon, who won 1-0 at Barrow in the league's only other game.

Sunday's game between Luton and Millwall might have fallen victim to a frozen pitch but you don't have to wait too much longer for your next Championship fix.

It's second against second-bottom on Monday as high-flying Sheffield United host Kolo Toure's Wigan.

Blackburn bounce back from their back-to-back defeats but it's now four losses in their past six home games for Norwich.

Rovers took an early lead when Ben Gibson sliced the ball into his own net from Tyler Morton's clipped free-kick.

Norwich huffed and puffed thereafter but never really looked like blowing Blackburn's house down.

Rovers, who had lost at Burnley and at home to Preston in their past two, wrapped up the win when Tyrhys Dolan's shot was deflected into his own net by Sam McCallum late on.

Norwich, who are fifth, were booed off the pitch, with many fans calling for manager Dean Smith to go.

Blackburn go back up to third and have still not drawn a single one of their 23 league games this campaign.

Ben Gibson is booked for the home side and I think that will be that.

Tyrhys Dolan better hope Ben Brereton Diaz doesn't have him in the secret Santa.

The Rovers forward does brilliantly to fashion a chance but the Chile international is there for a tap in.

Dolan either doesn't see him or ignores him anyway and hits his shot over the bar.

Not sure how Blackburn's Ryan Hedges isn't booked for a trip on Liam Gibbs but never mind.

The substitutes have certainly had a impact.

Liam Gibbs has brought energy in midfield and Onel Hernandez is running at full-backs.

Hernandez doesn't get the ball right there but there's intent there now.

Norwich bring on Adam Idah for Danel Sinani.

That should give the Canaries more of a threat through the middle.

Norwich have again dominated possession this half but it just feels like they're missing that spark of creativity.

USA international Josh Sargent turns well in the area but his shot is blocked behind by Scott Wharton.

But Norwich are the home team and you'd expect a lot more from them.

Blackburn win a corner and Sammie Szmodics does well to get an effort on goal from 20 yards out but Angus Gunn in the home goal gets across and saves comfortbly.
