First real chance of the game for Burnley.

Johann Gudmundsson slips the offside trap and is in on goal.

The angle is always against him and the goalkeeper stands up well to deflect the effort wide.

  2. CLOSE!published at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 17 December 2022

    West Brom 1-0 Rotherham

West Brom have got their tails up now.

Okay Yokuslu wins the ball back in midfield and takes sight from outside the area.

His quality strike goes just wide of the post.

    Pressure tells from Coventry.

They have a corner on the right, swung to the top of the six-yard box and a great leap from Jonathan Panzo sees him head beyond Steven Benda in the Swansea goal.

A first senior goal for Panzo.

Bolton have only won one of their last five in the league but Dion Charles has just scored his 10th of the season to double their advantage at home to Exeter, turning in a cutback from close range.

Who needs a form book anyway? Charlton are winless in five, Bristol Rovers have lost one in 11, so of course Ryan Inniss has put the Addicks ahead after 20 minutes at the Valley with a header from a corner.

It's been 20 games without a win for Rovers at Charlton, the last time was 24 years before Gas boss Joey Barton was born.

    Hull City 0-0 Sunderland

Good chance for the home side.

Lewie Coyle crosses in for Oscar Estupinan but the Colombian cannot direct his header on target.

    Bristol City 0-0 Stoke City

Still very little of note from Ashton Gate between these two sides so let me refer to my stats sheet and hit you with some knowledge - to keep things ticking over.

Bristol City's home form has dipped in recent months after a fast start the Championship season. The Robins have only scored one goal in their last three home games.

Meanwhile, while Stoke don't score as many goals away from home they do concede significantly less and keep more clean sheets.

  8. Postpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 17 December 2022

    Coventry 0-0 Swansea

    Chance for the home side.

Jamie Allen down the right and crosses for Callum O'Hare eight yards out.

It's not a comfortable height and O'Hare rather scuffs his shot wide.

  9. goal

    Jed Wallace (20 mins)

The in-form hosts take the lead!

What a turnaround they're having under Carlos Corberan.

Former Celtic man Tom Rogic plays Jed Wallace in on goal and he slots home a quality low finish.

A win today would be a fifth successive victory for the Baggies.

  10. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 17 December 2022

    Cardiff 0-0 Blackpool

Another penalty appeal for the home side.

Callum Robinson is on goal, takes it around the goalkeeper and goes down.

    But he's booked for diving!

Derby have doubled their lead at home to lowly Forest Green, David McGoldrick is left unmarked to slot past the keeper from close range for his eighth goal of the season.

The Rams are unbeaten in seven, but have drawn five of those... could this be a timely win against a side who have won their last two league games?

    Burnley 0-0 Middlesbrough

Not much to report so far at Turf Moor.

Burnley with the majority of possession and feeling their way into the game.

But they did have a slightly nervy moment defending a Boro free-kick but fortunately for them the ball found its way through to goalkeeper Arijanet Muric.

    Preston North End 0-0 QPR

    Andy Bayes
Preston North End commentator for BBC Radio Lancashire

A brilliant five minute spell from QPR.

It's their dribbling that is setting this contest apart.

They are finding the gaps and making it exciting.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Watford

Huddersfield might be bottom of the table but they're on top in this game against promotion-chasing Watford.

A downward header from Josh Ruffels bounces over the crossbar after Danny Ward had seen an effort deflect wide.

  15. Postpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 17 December 2022

    West Brom 0-0 Rotherham

The home side looking to make the breakthrough.

Daryl Dike tees up Matt Phillips but Viktor Johansson in the Millers goal is equal to the former Scotland international's effort.

  16. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 17 December 2022

    Preston North End 0-0 QPR

    QPR hit the post!

Tim Iroegbunam hits a superb shot from 25 yards out, which beats North End keeper Freddie Woodman, but it thumps the inside of the post and stays out.

Hull City are marking their 20th anniversary at the MKM Stadium today.

Liam Rosenior's side have just about shaded the opening stages so far.

  18. Postpublished at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 17 December 2022

    Preston North End 0-0 QPR

QPR defender Ethan Laird gets past the North End defenders way too easily but his shot is blocked.

He ice-skated his way through the back line and had a chance.

    Still goalless.

  19. Postpublished at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 17 December 2022

    Coventry 0-0 Swansea

    Swansea could easily be ahead.

Jamie Paterson with a scudding cross from the left.

He finds Joel Piroe near the penalty spot but the Dutchman can make no contact with his effort.
