    Gillingham 1-1 Dag & Red

Gillingham goalscorer Elkan Baggott takes a knock to the head as he tries attacking another corner, but he's deemed fine to continue.

The hosts are slowly starting to get on top here.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 65 mins

    Gillingham 1-1 Dag & Red

An opportunistic effort from Dagenham's Myles Weston isn't too far off-target.

He shoots on the turn from a tough angle but it doesn't trouble the Gillingham keeper.

The hosts make a double change - Alex MacDonald and Scott Kashket on for Ben Reeves and Jordan Green.

Kashket scored a stoppage time equaliser to send this tie to a replay.

Apologies for the lack of match description in this second half but, put quite bluntly, very little has happened.

Quality and end product is low, which is a shame as the first half was very watchable...

It's only getting colder in Kent and a frost has developed on the surface.

Should this tie go to extra time, could there be an issue?

    BBC Radio Kent commentator

"There were a lot of chances in the first half but it's dried up a little bit."

    Gillingham 1-1 Dag & Red

Let me remind you all - the winners here will host Leicester in the FA Cup third round.

If that's not a massive incentive, I don't know what is.

It's gone cagy in this second half.

  7. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 55 mins

    Gillingham 1-1 Dag & Red

Dagenham are the first to turn to their bench.

Winger George Saunders, recently back from a broken leg, replaces Elliot Johnson.

  8. 'Gillingham creativity lacking'published at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2022

    Glenn Murray
Former Crystal Palace striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

From what I've seen this evening this drought doesn't just fall on the Gillingham strikers.

You need to create opportunities and Gillingham, as a team, aren't creating too many chances for their strikers.

From what I'm seeing creativity is definitely lacking.

This referee is a proper throwback.

Players are throwing themselves to the floor but he's having none of it, and it's making for a better tie.

Neither side yet to create anything in this second half, however.

  10. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Gillingham 1-1 Dag & Red

No half-time changes made by either side.

The pitch is looking particularly hard in this freezing weather but, most importantly, safe to play on.

  11. KICK-OFFpublished at 46 mins

    Gillingham 1-1 Dag & Red

    We're back under way.

Gillingham kept the Dagenham players waiting but eventually made their way back out.

It's not an evening to be outside any longer than you need to be!

FA Cup: Will Collar hat-trick sends Stockport into third round

Wednesday's FA Cup second-round replay saw League Two Stockport ease past League One Charlton.

But this was no shock really. The Addicks are without a manager after sacking Ben Garner on Monday, while Stockport are on the rise in the fourth tier.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2022

    Gillingham 1-1 Dag & Red

The set-piece ultimately comes to nothing and they go in level.

Non-league Dagenham led through Matt Robinson's firm low strike but League Two strugglers Gillingham struck back thanks to Elkan Baggott's header.

The visitors have shaded things but it's all to play for as Premier League side Leicester await the victors.

Dagenham are playing some really nice stuff at times.
