    Blackpool 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest have had 70% possession over the last 15 minutes, roughly since Marvin Ekpiteta's opener. It took the Premier League side a little while to get going but they're up for this fight now.

Chris Maxwell gets two strong hands behind Neco Williams' low drive to ensure Emmanuel Dennis can't pounce on the rebound at close range.

    Middlesbrough 1-2 Brighton

    Stephen Warnock
Former England defender on Final Score

Brighton are great to watch at the moment. The game is fascinating, Michael Carrick has come in at Middlesbrough and is trying to play similar football to Brighton.

You can see the foundations that Roberto de Zerbi has put in for the Seagulls and they look like a good team.

Sheffield United have taken the lead in the all-Championship tie at Millwall. The four-time winners are ahead thanks to 19-year-old Daniel Jebbison. Elsewhere, West Brom still lead 2-1 at non-league Chesterfield and Boreham Wood trail 1-0 at home to League One Accrington. It's goalless between Fleetwood-QPR, Ipswich-Rotherham and Shrewsbury-Sunderland.

    Middlesbrough 1-2 Brighton

Boro look to hit back straight away.

Matt Crooks is found on the left at the end of a quick counter, but his low shot lacks pace and precision and is easily saved by Jason Steele.

  7. Postpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Hull City 0-0 Fulham

Greg Docherty fails to hit the target for the hosts, who have still had all the attempts so far as we reach the half hour mark. Fulham don't appear in a hurry to try and settle this early.

GOAL - Middlesbrough 1-2 Brightonpublished at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Adam Lallana

    Albion restore their lead!

Solly March's deep cross finds Kaory Mitoma in space at the back post. His volley is into the ground but loops over home keeper Zack Steffen en route to the far corner of the net. Adam Lallana pinches the goal, though, chesting it in to make sure on the line.

It is grim now at Bournemouth. Rain, wind... just what you want for an FA Cup third-round tie!

Surridge just has to cut it across but he goes for the shot and is just a bit greedy there.

    Blackpool 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Much better from Nottingham Forest now.

Gustavo Scarpa, Sam Surridge and Billy Fewster have all taken aim at Chris Maxwell's goal following Emmanuel Dennis' strike against the woodwork, which looks to have sparked Steve Cooper's side into life.

  12. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Bournemouth 1-1 Burnley

Burnley forced into an early change.

Taylor Harwood-Bellis kicks the ball out and then limps from the field, visibly frustrated. Luke McNally - a £2m signing from Oxford in the summer - is his replacement.

Brilliant play from Dennis, Ekpiteta doesn't get close enough. He whips one and it hits the crossbar. Good play from Forest.

    Oh but that's a chance!

Emmanuel Dennis hits the crossbar with an excellent curling right-footed effort. Great attempt.

  15. High line a 'dangerous one for Chesterfield'published at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Chesterfield 1-2 West Brom

    Stephen Warnock
Former England defender on Final Score

Its a dangerous one for Chesterfield. They can't play a high line while West Brom have the likes of Karlan Grant and Asante who can run in behind.

Chesterfield are caught flat footed and its a really nice finish from Grant to restore the lead.

    What a tie at Chesterfield!

Three goals in the opening 17 minutes as West Brom take the lead for the second time and make it 2-1 through Karlan Grant.

The Baggies have made 11 changes for this tie. Will non-league Chesterfield respond a second time?

  17. Postpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Middlesbrough 1-1 Brighton

    Save!

Boro go route one and send Riley McGree in on goal following a flicked header from Matt Crooks. The home midfielder steadies himself and hits a rising shot that Jason Steele does really well to tip over.

The home response to going behind has been superb.

    Blackpool 1-0 Nottingham Forest

    Fara Williams
Former England midfielder on Final Score

Blackpool have made a good start. They get the goal from Hamilton who does really well and digs a deep cross out, there's a blocked volley and then Ekpiteta is the one who finishes it.

  19. Postpublished at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 7 January 2023

    Blackpool 1-0 Nottingham Forest

Another chance for Blackpool to swing a ball into the box and test the Forest defence. It's sent in by Sonny Carey but Forest are better organised this time and the flag is raised for an offside.

The hosts have had four attempts to Forest's one. They're worth their lead so far.

    Hull City 0-0 Fulham

No attempts yet still for Fulham after 20 minutes at the The MKM Stadium.

Andreas Pereira's floated corner is comfortably caught by Matt Ingram. Uneventful.
