We spoke about why Gary O'Neil hadn't been given the permanent job pre-World Cup. He had a good run of games and picked up some good results. They've come back for the World Cup break and haven't picked up a point since so maybe giving him the job permanently hasn't worked for them.

Forest, since that Chelsea performance when they picked up a point and should have won that game, I think they have turned a corner. They are looking good, better at home than they are away. It should be interesting game because their away form isn't great. Points are desperately needed for both teams as they are fighting down the bottom.

Dango Ouattara is released in to space on the right and makes it into the box. The angle is tight and his low shot is saved by Wayne Hennessey.

It's comfortable for Emiliano Martínez as Lyanco heads a Southampton corner straight into his arms.

Jacob Ramsey is then chased down by Gavin Bazunu at the far end and he goes toppling over in the box. There's a VAR check for a penalty but nothing given...

It comes from a corner, which has proven to be a real problem for the Cherries this season. Serge Aurier rises but glances his header over the bar.

Forest have started pretty well here. Serge Aurier's pull back to the edge of the box finds Morgan Gibbs-White but his first-time shot is pushed away by Neto.

It is a tremendous atmosphere.

You can see Everton are happy to let West Ham have the ball, so they should be on the front foot.

Nothing of note happening at St Mary's yet. Romeo Lavia sprays a nice ball over to Samuel Edozie on the far side and he wins a corner.

First chance for new signing Dango Ouattara to have a run at the Forest goal. He gets the ball out of his feet after being found by Kieffer Moore, but is dispossessed by a sliding tackle from Renan Lodi.

Basement battle, a huge game in prospect here.

Toffees goalkeeper Jordan Pickford almost gifts West Ham an early opener, getting in a tangle with the ball deep inside his own area, but eventually managing to scramble clear.

No Premier League ground has seen fewer goals than Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium this season, with just 19.

Only Wolves (6) have netted fewer home goals than the Cherries (9) so far. On the other hand, Nottingham Forest have scored just twice in their nine away games this term.

Bodes well for a thriller!
