  2. 'Tentative start'published at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    West Ham 0-0 Everton

    James Collins
Former West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

Both teams are looking to get touches of the ball, there are a lot of nerves in the game.

Half way through the season, a six-pointer and both managers are under pressure. Rightly so, it is a tentative start.

  3. Postpublished at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    West Ham 0-0 Everton

Everton boss Frank Lampard, who served West Ham so well at the start of his career, is prowling the touchline.

Nervy times for both himself and counterpart David Moyes.

It's been a cagey opening from both sides so far.

    Bournemouth 0-0 Nottingham Forest

Bournemouth have won four of their last five league games against Nottingham Forest, including their only previous top-flight meeting in September, coming from 2-0 behind to win 3-2.

That win was Gary O'Neil's first as a Premier League manager. He made a very promising start, of course, but results have been harder to come by of late.

  5. Postpublished at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Southampton 0-0 Aston Villa

James Ward-Prowse whips in a pacey free-kick from far out but Emiliano Martinez gathers it in.

The Saints are starting to test Villa's defence a bit more now.

  6. Postpublished at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Bournemouth 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Oh, close!

Jaidon Anthony is found after a corner is cleared and his low shot takes a flick off a Forest player to take it just past the far post.

  7. Postpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Leicester 0-0 Brighton

    That'll hurt.

Dennis Praet smacks the shin on Moises Caicedo as he tried to get the ball, but mis-timed it by a long way.

No booking for the Belgium international and the Brighton midfielder looks OK to continue.

  8. 'Both teams desperately need points'published at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Bournemouth 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Fara Williams
Former England midfielder on Final Score

We spoke about why Gary O'Neil hadn't been given the permanent job pre-World Cup. He had a good run of games and picked up some good results. They've come back for the World Cup break and haven't picked up a point since so maybe giving him the job permanently hasn't worked for them.

Forest, since that Chelsea performance when they picked up a point and should have won that game, I think they have turned a corner. They are looking good, better at home than they are away. It should be interesting game because their away form isn't great. Points are desperately needed for both teams as they are fighting down the bottom.

  9. Postpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Bournemouth 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Open game this!

Dango Ouattara is released in to space on the right and makes it into the box. The angle is tight and his low shot is saved by Wayne Hennessey.

  10. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Southampton 0-0 Aston Villa

It's comfortable for Emiliano Martínez as Lyanco heads a Southampton corner straight into his arms.

Jacob Ramsey is then chased down by Gavin Bazunu at the far end and he goes toppling over in the box. There's a VAR check for a penalty but nothing given...

  11. Postpublished at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Bournemouth 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Another Forest chance!

It comes from a corner, which has proven to be a real problem for the Cherries this season. Serge Aurier rises but glances his header over the bar.

  12. Postpublished at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Bournemouth 0-0 Nottingham Forest

    Save!

Forest have started pretty well here. Serge Aurier's pull back to the edge of the box finds Morgan Gibbs-White but his first-time shot is pushed away by Neto.

  13. 'West Ham should be on the front foot'published at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    West Ham 0-0 Everton

    James Collins
Former West Ham defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

    It is a tremendous atmosphere.

You can see Everton are happy to let West Ham have the ball, so they should be on the front foot.

  14. Postpublished at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Southampton 0-0 Aston Villa

Nothing of note happening at St Mary's yet. Romeo Lavia sprays a nice ball over to Samuel Edozie on the far side and he wins a corner.

  15. Postpublished at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Bournemouth 0-0 Nottingham Forest

First chance for new signing Dango Ouattara to have a run at the Forest goal. He gets the ball out of his feet after being found by Kieffer Moore, but is dispossessed by a sliding tackle from Renan Lodi.

  16. Postpublished at 15:04 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    West Ham 0-0 Everton

Basement battle, a huge game in prospect here.

Toffees goalkeeper Jordan Pickford almost gifts West Ham an early opener, getting in a tangle with the ball deep inside his own area, but eventually managing to scramble clear.

  17. Postpublished at 15:03 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Bournemouth 0-0 Nottingham Forest

No Premier League ground has seen fewer goals than Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium this season, with just 19.

Only Wolves (6) have netted fewer home goals than the Cherries (9) so far. On the other hand, Nottingham Forest have scored just twice in their nine away games this term.

    Bodes well for a thriller!

Chris Wood is immediately sniffing around for a goal, though, on his Forest debut, but he is beaten to Serge Aurier's cross by Neto.

  18. Postpublished at 15:02 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Southampton 0-0 Aston Villa

Jacob Ramsey is hassled in the middle but Villa maintain possession inside their own half.

  19. Postpublished at 15:02 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    Leicester 0-0 Brighton

Brighton's kit can been seen from the moon.

    A garish, orange 'highligher' number.

An early goal will give them a bright start. Ahem.

  20. Applause for David Goldpublished at 15:02 Greenwich Mean Time 21 January 2023

    West Ham 0-0 Everton

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the London Stadium

A very respectful minute's applause for David Gold then.

The stadium was virtually full for it.

    Now for this crucial game.
