Great run from Eddie Nketiah - a real centre-forward's header, there at the back post. He had peeled out there.

Nketiah runs off the back of Wan-Bissaka who switches off. He goes to sleep a little bit. A simple header gets powered in from Nketiah at close range. De Gea had no chance.

Jimmy: Spurs fan here. I remember when rumours of Rashford coming to Spurs were met with derision by us. How wrong we were. How Spursy.

Willem: I thought Weghorst was brought in to come on as a target man if needed. Not sure if it's wise to have him in the starting line-up, especially against a team like Arsenal.

Riley: That equaliser shows that Man United can't defend within goal distance!

    Eddie Nketiah

Ohh, what a reply from Arsenal.

That's why they are top of the league.

The Gunners work a delightful move and Granit Xhaka sends a cross to the back post for Eddie Nketiah to tower over the statuesque United defence and draw his side level.

    Emirates erupts.

Richard: MARCUS! What a goal, son. The touch, the skill, the acceleration, the finish. The most in-form player in the Premier League right now.

    Sion: Ronaldo-esque by Rashford.

Mark: That's some goal from Rashford. He's a completely different player at the moment. Venomous finish.

    Arsenal 0-1 Man Utd

Arsenal work a training ground move and should level.

    Should have done better.

    Phil McNulty
BBC Sport chief football writer at Emirates Stadium

Marcus Rashford really has the Midas Touch. He is on such a rich run of form and that strike left Aaron Ramsdale helpless.

Arsenal's fans instantly turn up the volume to inspire the league leaders but the real joy is in the corner of Emirates Stadium, where those Manchester United supporters are still celebrating.

    Arsenal 0-1 Man Utd

Marcus Rashford is causing problems for Arsenal now and they are afraid of what further damage he can inflict.

Ben White takes matters into his own hands, chopping down his fellow England international and earning the first booking of the game.

What we have just seen here is right out of the top drawer. That is unbelievable play, it really is. Slight mistake from Partey.

Oh my goodness, what Marcus Rashford does here is simply superb. The shimmy to get past Partey. He has a yard to play with and he gets swerve and dip on it. The power takes it into the net. What an absolutely cracking goal from Rashford.

    Marcus Rashford

    WHAT A HIT!

Aaron Ramsdale does have work to do...picking the ball out of the net.

It's a pearler from the bang-in-form Marcus Rashford.

The England international shuffles away from Thomas Partey beautifully with quick feet, the space opens up and Rashford lets fly from range, hammering a 25-yard strike, which skips off the turf and into the corner.

    Arsenal are stunned.

  17. How confident does Wan-Bissaka look?published at 16:46 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January 2023

    Arsenal 0-0 Man Utd

    Matt Upson
Former Arsenal defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

How confident does Wan-Bissaka look during this game?

He has made a few big contributions and he is so calm. Even pressed, he can get the ball.

The way he moves his body in between the defender and the ball, he then can roll himself out of trouble.

Oof, Aaron Wan-Bissaka loses his bearings at the back post from Bukayo Saka's cross and nearly puts it into his own net.

He could have let it go for a goal kick.

Instead, the corner is headed out by Scott McTominay.
