Spurs are piling a lot of pressure on now with Drew Spence and Angharrad James leading that pressure from the middle of the park. Villa are being charged down every time they try to play the ball out of their own half and are now finding it difficult to get forwards.

Jordan Nobbs' afternoon is over on her Aston Villa debut with Emily Gielnik replacing her a couple of minutes ago.

Gielnik adds another striker to the pitch, so it's clear Carla Ward wants more goals here.

Spurs are using very little of the wings in their attacking play at the moment, with the graphic below showing the average positions of the players.

Eveliina Summanen (25), has spent most of her time at the top end of the pitch and is playing very close to Bethany England (19).

It's Tottenham who've got the upper hand in this one at the moment. Drew Spence takes another shot from outside the box but this one curls wide of the near post.

Jordan Nobbs went down and looked to be in some discomfort after being tackled by Rosella Ayane, but thankfully she's back up.

A real moment of worry there given her injury challenges in the past.

Now Villa make their first change of the afternoon as Switzerland international Alisha Lehmann comes on for Kirsty Hanson.

A moment of concern now for Villa with goalkeeper Anna Leat down and getting treatment.

Carla Ward has huddled her players around the touchline and is shouting instructions at them. Rehanne Skinner is doing similar, though markedly is less animated.

That wasn't very dangerous. Summanen attempts to hit her free-kick under the wall, but they stay rooted to the ground.

Now this might result in something. Jordan Nobbs goes into the book as she trips Summanen about five yards outside of the box and Villa have a potentially dangerous free-kick.

Hasn't been the most enthralling of second halves, this. Now that Spurs have clicked into gear the two teams are very evenly matched and are cancelling each other out.

As things stand this result will take Aston Villa level on points with fifth-placed West Ham, though their inferior goal difference would see them sit sixth in the league.

Spurs had gone 30 minutes without a shot before Spence's effort.

Drew Spence has Aston Villa's second shot on target of the afternoon with a speculative effort from distance. Anna Leat will make few easier saves than that.

It's been a much quieter affair since the break with the intensity from both teams being muted. Spurs are more into this one than in the last half, but it hasn't had much of an impact.

Daly is back and playing, which Carla Ward will be pleased with. She still looks to be in a little discomfort with her shoulder, though.

Rachel Daly is down and clutching her shoulder after a Spurs defender tumbles on top of her.

Rosella Ayane plays a ball towards Bizet but it's just too far in front of the Norwegian at the back post and goes behind. Spurs are looking much more up for it in the second half.
