There are still 19 games and 57 points left to play for in the Championship, but the automatic promotion race is looking increasingly like a closed shop.

Burnley and Sheffield United won again today, at home to Coventry and Stoke respectively, and the gap between them and the play-off spots is becoming a yawning one.

With Blackburn losing to Rotherham, Burnley are now 16 points clear of third-placed Watford. Sheffield United's advantage is a very strong 11 points.

It will surely take something pretty astonishing for the Clarets and the Blades not be to playing Premier League football in August.

Those two sides play again on Friday night and we'll be with you to guide you through the action to see if they keep marching on.

Thanks for your company this afternoon. See you on Friday!
