    Rotherham 1-0 Blackburn

Right, what have Blackburn got now then?

They've not taken a single point from a game in which they've conceded the first goal in this season.

    WHAT. A. START!

    WOW!

Superb goal from Hakeem Odoffin this.

Leo Hjelde gets forward well from defence and swings a cross in that Dom Hyam makes an absolute hash of clearing and Odoffin smashes in a wonderful shot from the edge of the area.

We're under way at the New York Stadium.

I think there's also a match just starting in the Premier League as well...

    • Blackburn are, unsurprisingly, the only club in the top four tiers of English football not to have drawn a match so far this season.
    • The fewest draws recorded by any team across a 46-game EFL season is three. Five teams have achieved this feat, with Rovers' Lancashire neighbours Accrington being the most recent to do so in 2007-08.
    • Rotherham have won one of their past 12 league games against Rovers, a 3-2 victory at the New York Stadium in March 2019.

    Rotherham v Blackburn (12:30 GMT)

Rotherham give debuts to both of their midweek signings, as defenders Sean Morrison and Leo Hjelde come straight into the XI. It's a first competitive appearance in almost a year for former Cardiff skipper Morrison.

Blackburn are without striker Ben Brereton Diaz for family reasons, so Sam Gallagher will lead their attack.

  6. Will unpredictable Blackburn stretch unusual record?published at 12:15 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Rotherham v Blackburn (12:30 GMT)

All of Blackburn's 26 league games this season have had one thing in common.

Not one of them has ended in a draw.

That highly unusual record means that only the top two have won more games than Rovers all season and only the bottom two have lost more.

A win over struggling Rotherham today would see Blackburn close the gap to second-placed Sheffield United to six points.

The Millers, who are one point above the bottom three, are in serious need of the points themselves and are looking for a first victory since 8 November.
