Manchester United
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag, speaking to BBC Radio 5 live: "I said before the game, 'no ifs, buts or maybes', we have to be in that semi-final and we did the job.
"The only thing I wasn't happy with was that we should have finished earlier by finding that key pass.
"I don't think we offered them too much and if we did then Tom Heaton was there.
"I think we should have finished it earlier on but the objective was to reach the semi so compliments to the team."
On substitutions impacting the match: "That was the plan before, I had to bring them on to sustain the rhythm for the coming games.
"One of the qualities of this team is that the substitutes are ready to come on, contribute and play really well.
"Pellistri came on and was really lively, he had some good actions and got an assist."

Manchester United
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag, speaking to BBC Radio 5 live: "We had to be in that semi final and we did the job. I think we had to finish this off early on but in the end the objective was to get through so compliments to the team."
On bringing on Marcus Rashford, Christian Eriksen and Casemiro: "It was the plan before to bring them on and keep them in the rhythm for the coming games.
"I don't think we allowed them that much and if there was something Tom Heaton was there.
"It is the standards of this team, the subs have to be ready and we saw that again today. They were all ready to come on and play really well."

Leicester City
Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers, speaking to Sky Sports: "Firstly, congratulations to Newcastle for getting through to the semi-final. I think they deserved to win the game. We lacked quality. We gave the ball away too easily and needed too many touches. We don't have any arguments. Two soft goals too. We can better in those areas. But Newcastle were better.
"We had chances. In the first-half we got into good areas. In the second-half we had good opportunities. If Jamie makes it 2-1 in the last 15 minutes of the game it makes it more nervous. We couldn't quite get the goal to make them feel the pressure.
"I have talked constantly about that [transfers] for a year. I need to work with what I have and continue to get ready for the weekend. We will see. The focus is on recovering some players. There is still a big second half of the season and we want to push to get into the top 10. We have a history in the FA Cup too."
On James Maddison: "He is working well back at the training facility and I will know more tomorrow."

Since coming to the premier league the squad rotation, player management and decision making from ten Haag has been nothing short of exceptional. Nice to finally have an elite manager back at Old Trafford.
Jesse, Wandsworth
Are we not going to talk about just how poor Leicester are?! No clue, no identity and a manager making excuses. Bye Brendan! From the fans.

Newcastle United
Newcastle boss Eddie Howe, speaking to BBC Radio 5 live: "We were excellent. Really good intensity and created a lot of chances but the only disappointment was we didn't score earlier.
"Incredible moment for Dan Burn. I am so pleased for him. This is his club and he has come back here and he is savouring every moment. I am so pleased for him.
"We still have a long way to go, we are just pleased to be in it and the two legged semi-final is something we will savour and we will give it our best shot."

Newcastle United
Dan Burn tells Sky Sports: "I used to sit in the east stand you always want to score in front of the Gallowgate end, to do that in front of my family was amazing.
"I like to get forward and it's entertaining watching a guy my size running into the box.
"It was excitement before the game. The gaffer made a big thing of going for a trophy this season, in previous years staying in the league was enough, but this year we want a cup.
"The fans deserve it and we want to deliver.
"When I first came here I thought it might be quite down, that's how it has been when I've been at other clubs who were in a relegation battle, but it's a great group of lads that we've brought in and we all complement each other.
"Sometimes you can get used to winning and that defeat the other day gave us the shock we needed."

Newcastle United
Newcastle manager Eddie Howe, speaking to Sky Sports: "It was a similar feel to the Leeds and Sheffield Wednesday games. We had chance after chance and couldn't take them. The important thing is not to get impatient and not to over-think things and be too extravagant. I thought we controlled things really well. The goals came at a good time. You are always looking for things to improve. I can't remember what I said at the break. It wasn't so much around the goal area but the chance creation. If you keep producing chances you score with the quality we had on the pitch.
"Leicester are a transition threat, especially when Vardy comes on. The defenders concentration was very good. At 0-0 we limited them.
"The hallmark of our team is that they don't stop. The athletic capability of our team is very high. Allied to that is the mentality, to understand the need to work and run and our players understand that. To the end we were trying to push.
"You have to enjoy winning. It doesn't happen all the time. You work hard for the moments in the changing room and you want the players to savour it."
On the atmosphere in the dressing room: "It is a good place. It is always good when you win. The lads were highly motivated tonight. We knew the importance of the game and I am really pleased with the performance.
On Bruno Guimaraes: "He is an unbelievable player in our team. He is a technician and he has that determination off the ball too. he has been a game-changer for us."
FT: Newcastle 2-0 Leicester
Newcastle United
Kieran Trippier on Sky Sports: "Delighted for Burny, he's come close a few times but it was great for him to score at St James'.
"We knew this was important because we went out of the FA Cup, the lads were brilliant tonight.
"The supporters here are brilliant, they follow us in numbers and it's always a great atmosphere at home. We want to make them proud by giving everything on the pitch.
"It would mean everything to win a trophy but we just need to focus on the next game, take it one game at a time and now we look to the Premier League."
FT: Newcastle 2-0 Leicester

Leicester City
Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers, speaking to BBC Radio 5 live: "The best team won. We are disappointed with the goals we conceded. We gave away two soft goals. We lacked quality in our play if I'm honest but the players gave everything.
"We had a few chances in the game, good chances we could have scored from but if you don't take those opportunities it is tough.
"I am focussed on the players that are fit and available. That is where we are at."

Dom: This scoring run from Rashford is starting to get ridiculous, especially given he's been a sub in a few of those games.
Sami: Casemiro simply on another level
Robin: Pellistri needs to be given more game time! What a talent

FT: Man Utd 3-0 Charlton
All the Charlton players are over to congratulate the 9,000 travelling fans.
For anyone seeing the scoreline they would think Charlton were well beaten but they more than held their own against their Premier League rivals until tiredness and Manchester United's quality told.
Man Utd 3-0 Charlton
Leon Osman
Former Everton midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live
We're at the stage where it looks harsh on Charlton, considering how well they've done, but they were out on their feet.
Marcus Rashford is in such a good run of goalscoring form. The first touch is out of his feet and you never had any doubt about where the second touch would end up.
FT: Newcastle 2-0 Leicester
Newcastle are now into a League Cup semi-final for the first time since 1975-76. They lost the final that year to Manchester City.
The players are currently enjoying a lap of honour. Maybe don't enjoy it too much, lads. Still work to do.
Man Utd 3-0 Charlton
It's all over and Manchester United get past a resilient Charlton side. The upset was not to be but the travelling fans were given a performance full of grit and hunger.
As for Manchester United, in the end their quality showed and they are into the last four of the EFL Cup.
Marcus Rashford (90+4 mins)
There's time for a late third!
It's another for Marcus Rashford and what a performance off the bench as he cotinues his excellent form in front of goal.
Casemiro plays the ball over the top and Rashford takes a touch before firing home.
The scoreline is a touch harsh on Charlton but it is two moments of quality from Rashford.
Newcastle 2-0 Leicester
Newcastle United are EFL Cup semi-finalists!
This is an utterly deserved win. They were the better side throughout and go through thanks to goals from Dan Burn and Joelinton.
