It's been dreadful. It's a performance that would put any manager under pressure. Livingston have threatened every time they've gone forward

  2. CLOSE!published at 16:11 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Motherwell 0-0 Ross County

The rain continues to lash down at Fir Park and County come close through Jordan White.

Yan Dhanda does well to chop back on to his right foot to cross from the left and striker White's header flashes past the far post.

And a fourth change for Saints just as quickly. Ryan McGowan is the latest to trudge off, with Daniel Phillips coming on in midfield.

This is a performance similar to last season and a really worrying sign for the St Johnstone fans that remain in the ground.

Even on a bitterly cold winter’s day in Perth, you can guarantee that the filling to your half-time pie will be warmer than the sun.

    Very tasty it is too.

Unsurprisingly, St Johnstone boss Callum Davidson isn't a happy man. He makes three changes.

On come forwards Jamie Murphy and Connor McLennan, plus midfielder Cammy MacPherson.

Off go Graeme Carey, David Wotherspoon and Alex Mitchell.

It's a game Malky Mackay would have thought they were capable of winning. They haven't had any cutting edge - they don't look like scoring a goal. At least Motherwell are creating chances and there's a spark from their wide players

A lot of boos going round the ground and St Johnstone probably deserve it. They're not showing much character for Callum Davidson. It's a big half-time team talk coming up

  14. HALF-TIME - Hibernian 1-2 Dundee Unitedpublished at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

United deservedly lead at the break.

Glenn Middleton's well-taken goal was added to by Ian Harkes' deflected strike.

Kevin Nisbet briefly equalised for Hibs with his sixth goal in six games, but the home side have been second best for most of the half.

  15. HALF-TIME St Johnstone 0-3 Livingstonpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

We weren't expecting goals, but Livingston have battered a fragile-looking St Johnstone in the first half.

The hosts actually started the brighter, but Livingston - for the second week in a row - were absolutely clinical. Four shots on target, three ending in goals.

Stephen Kelly got the first two, with James Penrice adding the third.

As it stands, Livi go fourth while Saints' awful run continues.

A tense affair at Fir Park - and that's just between the players and the wet weather.

There's been endeavour and attempts to overcome the conditions, but no goals so far.

Motherwell have forced the better chances, but this one is still wide open, as no doubt a few doors are due to the wind.
