    James Penrice

It was a matter of time!

A corner is half-cleared, Bruce Anderson puts it back into a dangerous area and James Penrice ghosts in with a delightful little flick to make it three.

Chance for County. Owura Edwards crosses from the right and both Ross Callachan and Jordan White try to attack it, but neither can make the crucial connection.

    St Johnstone 0-2 Livingston

St Johnstone are looking increasingly shaky at the back and Livingston can smell blood.

Bruce Anderson and Andrew Shinnie have had shots desperately blocked, while two-goal Stephen Kelly has curled a free-kick over the bar.

    Motherwell 0-0 Ross County

If Motherwell are to get in front in this game, it's looking more and more like Stuart McKinstry will play a part.

This time, the winger heads over from the inside left channel from Olly Crankshaw's cross.

The Motherwell 'Bois' are doing their best to get some noise going inside Fir Park, their drums are banging alright.

But there is a real sense of nervousness around the ground and not much else.

Maybe they're waiting for their team to give them something to cheer, but the team right now could do with some encouragement.

  9. goal

GOAL Hibernian 1-2 Dundee Utdpublished at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Ian Harkes

    United respond!

A long ball is won by Steven Fletcher and the striker flicks it on to Kieran Freeman.

It's worked to Ian Harkes on the right and the midfielder dummies the cross, chops back inside and shoots. It takes a deflection off defender Lewis Stevenson and flies into the top corner over standed goalkeeper David Marshall.

    St Johnstone 0-2 Livingston

    Andy Burke
BBC Sport Scotland at McDiarmid Park

Even this early, there are some very unhappy Saints fans around the place. Their team has been picked off twice and another goal for the visitors will surely prove too much to recover from.

Livi have had two chances and Stephen Kelly has taken them both wonderfully. They can afford to sit in, but they seem intent on getting that killer third goal.

    St Johnstone 0-2 Livingston

Almost a goal back for St Johnstone. The corner from the right is flicked towards goal by Nicky Clark, it deflects off Andy Considine and falling goalkeeper Shamal George has to claw the ball out of the air to stop it looping into the net.

There were hand-ball shouts, but play eventually goes on.

  15. goal

GOAL Hibernian 1-1 Dundee Utdpublished at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Kevin Nisbet

Out of the blue - and Kevin Nisbet scores his fourth in two games!

He's just such a lethal finisher. A brilliant long pass finds Josh Campbell and he feeds Nisbet just inside the box.

He takes one touch, surges past two defenders and finds the far corner. Six goals in six games since his comeback. And counting...

Hibs are all over the place.

A ball over the head of makeshift right-back Josh Campbell causes huge problems and Glenn Middleton steals in and squares it for Steven Fletcher.

The striker's first-time shot is blocked.

Ryan Porteous in midfield and Campbell at right-back is NOT working so far for Hibs.

  18. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 14 January 2023

    Motherwell 0-0 Ross County

One for the refereeing team to look into at Fir Park.

Owura Edwards chases a short headed pass-back and gets to the ball before Motherwell goalkeeper Liam Kelly before going down in the box. The ball trickles out and the referee signals for a goal kick.

After a check, the referee's decision is upheld.

    St Johnstone 0-2 Livingston

A small penalty shout for Livingston. Again, the ball is worked down the right and played into the box. Midfielder Steven Bradley goes down under pressure, but nothing is given.

Kevin Clancy is the VAR, he's not fussed and neither is the man in the middle, John Beaton.
