But the rest of the pre-match statistics favour visitors Rangers.
Michael Beale's side are 10 games without defeat, have won four in a row away from home, while Saints have lost five in a row, including three at home.
Rangers last failed to progress further than the fourth round when losing to Hearts in the 1994-95 season, while St Johnstone, who were holders, suffered a shock defeat by then League 2 leaders Kelty Hearts at this stage last season.

Oh, Chris Hamilton - how have you missed?!
A cross drops to the Dunfermline defender at the back post and he somehow scoops over from all of two yards out. He has his head in his hands, and it's no wonder why.

It's going to be like a home game for Rangers, which shouldn't be the case. The cups have been very important to St Johnstone in recent years.

St Mirren 0-0 Dundee
St Mirren are inches away from the breakthrough. A corner is bundled into the box, the ball pings around some legs before Adam Legzdins is able to make a save and the ball is hacked clear.
