Ryan Wallace had started the move for that golden chance and within a minute he was back in possession and decided to try his luck with a shot from the edge of the box. No fumble or parry by Hemming this time.

Very little of note in the first-half, which has been overshadowed by a serious injury to Tyler French.
A simple 50-50 saw the defender leave the pitch on a stretcher after lengthy treatment.
St Mirren have had the better of it, but Adam Legzdins has rarely been tested and when he has, they were comfortable saves.

Kilmarnock have done just about everything except score a goal. They have been tidy in possession, their passing has been crisp, they have shown good movement off the ball but it's just their final ball that has been lacking. Dumbarton have defended with enthusiasm, guided by their skipper Gregor Buchanan. They've won a few corners but Killie, too, have been on their toes when high balls have come in to their box. It's been a decent match.
