    Man Utd 0-0 Everton

There's a bit of a scuffle in the box as United try to create an opportunity.

Lucia Garcia sees a shot denied and Alessia Russo holds the ball up well to try and find a bit of space for herself but it's dragged away from her and eventually cleared by Everton.

I wonder if Emma Hayes will have been keeping tabs on the action at Leigh Sports Village at half-time?

Chelsea will go two points ahead at the top of the WSL if things remain the way they are.

    Man Utd 0-0 Everton

Everton are just starting to creep into this game. As Emma said a lapse in concentration from Manchester United and they could find themselves 1-0 down for all of their good work.

Wow! Jess Park just missed a HUGE opportunity to put Everton ahead.

It's gone very quiet at LSV. That's two chances for Everton in the last few minutes and United have just become a little sloppy at the back.

After all their missed chances, if they give away a late goal here, it would be a massive blow.

  6. CLOSE!published at 13:33 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2023

    Man Utd 0-0 Everton

Ohhhh Jess Park will be disappointed with that.

Ona Battle makes her first big mistake of the game and plays the ball straight to the feet of the Everton forward. Park is under pressure though and is forced out to a tight angle so she can't get a decent shot off.

It's a disappointing effort but United have got away with one there.

Long range effort from Katie Zelem, who we know can hit them. Just over the bar on this occasion but it's a good effort from the captain.

    Liverpool v Reading (14.00 GMT)

Matt Beard makes two changes to the Liverpool starting XI from the team beaten 3-2 by Chelsea in the FA Cup last weekend.

Most notable is Gemma Bonner starting in the centre of defence, replacing Niamh Fahey.

Taylor Hinds for Yana Daniels is the other change as Beard looks to have switched to a midfield three.

Liverpool XI: Laws; Koivisto, Matthews, Bonner, Campbell; Hinds, Nagano, Holland; Kearns, Lawley; Stengel.

Subs: Cumings, Kirby, Robe, Roberts, Lundgaard, Humphrey, Daniels, Silcock, Turner

Jacqueline Burns and Jade Moore start, replacing Grace Moloney and Charlie Wellings.

Tinaya Alexander is involved for the first time since signing from Montpellier, she is on the bench.

Reading XI: Burns; Mukandi, Evans, Cooper; Eikeland, Troelsgaard, Vanhaevermaet, Woodham; Rowe, Moore, Harries.

    Man Utd 0-0 Everton

Nikita Parris' first action in the game is to win a corner for her side but United can't do anything with it.

Everton have a chance on the counter and it's the first time we've seen them come forward in this half.

Jess Park fires off a shot at the near post but it's a simple catch for Mary Earps. I'm pretty sure that's the first time she's been called into action this half, though.

This is getting ridiculous. Marc Skinner will be pulling his hair out! Brilliant save from Courtney Brosnan to stop Katie Zelem, then Leah Galton fired it back to Hayley Ladd when she only needed to roll it for her and it was a sitter. Half the stadium were already cheering thinking it was a certain goal... On both occasions!

  15. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 13:27 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2023

    Man Utd 0-0 Everton

Another change for Everton as Izzy Christiansen comes on for Karen Holmgaard.

Leah Galton is off for Manchester United and on comes Nikita Parris.

  16. GREAT SAVE!published at 13:26 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2023

    Man Utd 0-0 Everton

Ohhh how is this game still 0-0?!

Ona Battle whips in a delightful cross for Katie Zelem and she catches it really well on the volley but it's a great save from Courtney Brosnan.

    Faye White

Chelsea deservedly lead at half-time. It was a spirited performance by Tottenham to fight back from that early goal. But Chelsea just looked so much more threatening.

Great feet from Lucia Garcia in the box to tee up Ona Batlle. Everton are literally throwing themselves in front of the ball to block it! United assistant coach Martin Ho has barely sat down all game. The longer it goes on without a goal, the more agitated you feel United might become.

  19. Postpublished at 13:23 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2023

    Man Utd 0-0 Everton

Hannah Blundell played a low cross in to Katie Zelem who takes a touch and tries to turn but it's nipped away by an Everton defender.

It's wave after wave from Manchester United, though, as Ona Battle sends a high cross in and Leah Galton can't get a clean header on it and it glances out of play.

  20. Postpublished at 13:20 Greenwich Mean Time 5 February 2023

    Man Utd 0-0 Everton

United have had 67% of the possession in this match but for all that they've not managed to break the deadlock.

Everton have worked hard on maintaining that pressure, they've held really well.
