That flag could have come half an hour earlier. Sterling always looked three of four yards offside.

Put it up earlier and save us all the trouble.

You could see that Raheem Sterling was clearly offside before Havertz bent in that shot off the underside of the bar. Graham Potter shakes his head.

Usually in those scenarios the flag would have gone up once it came to Kai Havertz.

Chelsea have a goal disallowed thanks to a super late offside flag.

Raheem Sterling is offside as he runs onto a ball over the top. His shot is saved but the rebound comes to Kai Havertz, who curls a beauty into the top corner off the underside of the bar from the edge of the box.

Then the flag goes up.
