  1. Blunt Bluespublished at 14:55 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

    Chelsea v Leeds (15:00 GMT)

Chelsea scored 23 goals in 24 Premier League games this season, their lowest total at this stage of a campaign since 1993-94 when they had scored just 22.

Graham Potter's side have also lost their past three matches in all competitions without scoring.

  2. 'Arsenal are relentless'published at 14:54 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

    Arsenal v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

Arsenal have been brilliant since they lost to Manchester City, winning three out of three. They are relentless and, the way the Gunners are playing, you have to fancy them strongly to win this one too.

Bournemouth always show plenty of fight and I don't think this will be a walkover, but Arsenal are in form and look full of confidence.

Mikel Arteta's side will slip up again before the end of the season, there's no doubt about that... but not on Saturday.

    Sutton's prediction: 3-0

  3. Can Leeds do it again?published at 14:53 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

    Chelsea v Leeds (15:00 GMT)

Leeds have the joint-worst Premier League away record this season, winning once and picking up six points.

Their only away league victory this season came against Liverpool in October.

They have won just two of their 12 Premier League games against sides currently in the top half of the table.

But one of those was a 3-0 win over Chelsea at home...

  4. 'Potter can turn it around'published at 14:52 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

    Chelsea v Leeds (15:00 GMT)

    Sebastien Bassong
Former Spurs defender on BBC 5 Live

I think Graham Potter can turn it around, it's just a matter of time until it clicks.

He's signed a lot of young players and many of them are from abroad.

There is an acceptance from the whole squad that things are changing.

  5. 'I thought we were brave'published at 14:51 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

    FT: Man City 2-0 Newcastle

    Newcastle United

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe to BBC Sport: "I thought it was a very good performance from us in many aspects. I thought we pressed really well and were brave. I thought the players were committed to that. I thought we unsettled them.

"But they have a habit of scoring with minimal chances which is what they did today. And we had chances but it weren't as clinical as them.

"It's just one of those things, I think we're going through a faze where that's happening to us. I think our general performance we have to be very positive about, we have to acknowledge that there's improvements to make, but compared to last year we're getting closer. We have to be positive about that.

"We're trying to be the team we want to be in every game. We haven't tried to change our approach because I don't think you learn from it and the scoreline probably becomes a heavier defeat. We want to be aggressive and progressive. Now there are still areas for us to improve in but I think our performance here today is really positive."

Wolves forward Raul Jimenez has scored four goals in his seven Premier League games against Spurs.

Three of those goals have come away from home.

He's only scored more against Everton (5) and Southampton (5) in the Premier League.

  7. 'Chelsea look fragile'published at 14:49 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

    Chelsea v Leeds (15:00 GMT)

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City midfielder for BBC Radio 5 Live

Javi Gracia wants Leeds to be more structured but today is the one to go at the opposition with Chelsea struggling at the moment.

Chelsea are under huge pressure, they look fragile and it's almost a free hit for Leeds.

  8. 'It could have been different, there were moments for us'published at 14:48 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

    FT: Man City 2-0 Newcastle

    Newcastle United

Newcastle manager Eddie Howe, speaking to BT Sport: "I thought we were well in the game today. It was a similar performance to last week where we were good in the game, very dynamic in our play, aggressive, good with the ball, hurt them at times but couldn't put that final piece together.

"Our plan was to come here and attack and to try and give our all physically and then give an opportunity to new players coming onto the pitch to do the same.

"Keeping that high energy up for 90 minutes is difficult so we wanted to break that up with the substitutions. I was pleased with the impact but then the second goal comes at a bad time for us.

"It could have been different, there were moments for us today. Probably the one that sticks in my head is Joelinton's chance at 1-0. They're big moments and when you play games like this you have to be clinical because you're not going to get many chances. Unfortunately. that didn't happen.

"Phil Foden is in good form. We were were disappointed with the first goal although you have to say he took it very well. There are things for us to reflect on, minimal chances for them today. I thought we kept them relatively quiet, they're a world-class team so they're always going to have chances but I thought we minimised their threat.

"The general performances have been very good. When we came here last year, the result was difficult and you could see the real gap between the teams. I don't think that's been there this season.

"There is still growth for us to get closer to Manchester City."

  9. 'It's the toughest test you can face'published at 14:47 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

    Arsenal v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

Gary O'Neil insists Bournemouth are not intimidated by a trip to Emirates Stadium, despite admitting it is "the toughest place to go".

The Cherries are 19th in the Premier League so are heavy underdogs against the league leaders.

"It will take a big effort from everyone against Arsenal, but we go there looking to win a game of football and add some points," said O'Neil.

"It's the toughest test you can face. Their aggression and intensity make them a very good side.

"It's no surprise they are where are they are. Mikel [Arteta] has done a very good job.

"But we go there not just to take part and will set up in a way that gives us the best opportunity to take something."

  10. Angel here to see Watkinspublished at 14:45 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

Aston Villa v Crystal Palace (15:00 GMT)

    Chris Wise
BBC Radio 5 Live commentator at Villa Park

Great to see one of Aston Villa’s best strikers of the past couple of decades here today.

Juan Pablo Angel - minus the trademark long hair - has been invited by the club.

Fitting really that he’ll see Villa’s latest goalscoring angel in full flow this afternoon.

Ollie Watkins has scored in each of the past five games for Unai Emery’s team.

  11. 'Arsenal have a strong mentality'published at 14:43 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

    Arsenal v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

    Ashley Williams
Former Wales captain on Final Score

Mikel Arteta won't allow Arsenal to get above themselves.

They'll know City are hot on their heels and if they slip they'll lose top spot.

They have the mentality to keep grinding out results.

  12. 'The pressure keeps increasing'published at 14:42 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

    Chelsea v Leeds (15:00 GMT)

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City midfielder for BBC Radio 5 Live

At home is where it's most important for Leeds.

The pressure just keeps increasing. They may have to rely on others to get out of this relegation battle.

  13. 'A close game but I'm backing Brighton'published at 14:41 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

Brighton v West Ham (15:00 GMT)

West Ham went with a strong team on Wednesday and gave Manchester United a scare in the FA Cup.

The Hammers' win over Nottingham Forest last weekend was really encouraging too and Danny Ings, who was cup-tied for the trip to Old Trafford, will be back after scoring twice in that game.

So, I can see this being a close game, but I am still backing Brighton to win it because of their consistency - they always seem to play well.

    Sutton's prediction: 2-1

  14. 'Potter is in massive trouble'published at 14:40 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

    Chelsea v Leeds (15:00 GMT)

    Stephen Warnock
Former England and Liverpool defender on Football Focus

Chelsea look lost. I don't think they believe in what Graham Potter is doing.

Look at them, they are all over the place; I don't see any leadership.

On paper, you'd look at their team sheet and think it'll be difficult but they are a team of individuals.

    Potter is in massive trouble.

  15. Head-to-head statspublished at 14:39 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

    Wolves v Tottenham (15:00 GMT)

Wolves are winless in six home league games against Tottenham, drawing two and losing four.

Spurs are aiming to complete a league double over Wolves for the first time since the 2003-04 season.

Nuno Espirito Santo's Tottenham won this fixture 1-0 last season courtesy of a Dele Alli penalty.

  16. 'Villa making progress under Emery'published at 14:38 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

Aston Villa v Crystal Palace (15:00 GMT)

Crystal Palace have drawn five of their past six games but they still haven't won in 2023, and they haven't been scoring many either. It's hard to see things changing much for them here.

Aston Villa's recent results have been mixed but I do feel like they are making progress under Unai Emery, and they definitely carry more of a goal threat than the Eagles do.

    Sutton's prediction: 2-0

  17. 'We have had tough moments this season'published at 14:37 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

    FT: Man City 2-0 Newcastle

    Manchester City

Manchester City's Bernardo Silva to BT Sport: "I am very happy because it was a tough game. It was a tough moment in the game for us.

"They take more risks and they went for it so to score that [second] goal was very good. You know when you play Newcastle how good they are this season. They went for it because they need points. We knew they would press more and create more chances so the second goal was important for us.

"Phil Foden is so good, he is one of those players who can score goals and win games for you. I am happy for him, he went through a difficult period with his injury so I am very happy to have him with us because he showed he can solve some of our problems.

"There is a good team spirit at the moment. We have had tough moments this season but we want to compete and do our best. It won't be easy but we will fight for all of the titles we are still in.

"We'll see, we can only focus on ourselves now, we cannot focus on Arsenal. We need to do our job because if we don't it will not matter what Arsenal does or not."

  18. 'The pressure has gone to another level'published at 14:36 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

    Chelsea v Leeds (15:00 GMT)

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City midfielder for BBC Radio 5 Live

Why did Chelsea spend all that money? The Chelsea supporters just want to see results and can't understand why they aren't getting them.

They seem to be buying players off the cuff so what chance have they got?

You have to look at the players in the dressing room and no way should they be losing the games they are doing, but that was happening before Graham Potter.

I feel sorry for him, now after these next two games there might be a change so the pressure has just gone to another level.

What are they doing with the investment, buying players that are not necessarily needed around the squad.

  19. 'We don't really know how to handle it'published at 14:35 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

    Arsenal v Bournemouth (15:00 GMT)

Aaron Ramsdale says Arsenal's squad are currently approaching games as if they are a mid-table side rather than shouldering the pressure that comes with chasing a first league title since 2004.

"I wouldn't say it's easy but it's definitely a pressure which is so much nicer to have than the opposite side," said Ramsdale.

"It's an enjoyment and because not a lot of us have been here before, we don't really know how to handle it. So we're just going out and playing the games as if we're 10th, 12th, whatever.

"I found out the hard way that you can't get too low or you can't get too high. If you lose a game of football that can't take over your whole life.

"Obviously I want to win every single game and do well, but it's not the be all and end all at the minute."

  20. How the table lookspublished at 14:34 Greenwich Mean Time 4 March 2023

That win for Manchester City keeps the pressure on leaders Arsenal, with a two-point gap, but they can extend it back to five with victory over Bournemouth.

It was a good result for Tottenham's top-four hopes too. They are at Wolves this afternoon, needing a response from their FA Cup exit.
