  1. 'Ayling ghosts in at the back post'published at 16:13 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2023

    Wolves 0-2 Leeds

    Martin Keown
Former England defender on Final Score

At the back post, they used to call it the POMO position, the position of maximum opportunity. Ayling ghosts into that area, he is not a prolific goal scorer by any means.

    Harvey Barnes (52 mins)

Another big goal in the relegation scrap, as Leicester draw level at Brentford!

A slick move sees Harvey Barnes played in by James Maddison and dink the ball over David Raya. Game on.

    Wolves 0-2 Leeds

Wolves have a mountain to climb now. They will definitely be wondering just how they are 2-0 down here after having so much of the game but they need to act and act fast if they are to salvage something.

Julen Lopetegui is eyeing more changes. He does love a sub, the Spanish gaffer.

    Southampton 1-1 Tottenham

    Tony Pulis
Former Stoke manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

What a ball to Walcott, a great cross to Adams and he taps it in.

What a start for Southampton! I wouldn't mind having a penny for every supporter who missed that goal. They needed that.

    Che Adams (46 mins)

Wow - a superb start to the second-half for Southampton!

Che Adams meets Theo Walcott's pass at the back post just 43 seconds after the restart!

  6. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:08 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2023

Southampton and Tottenham are back under way now too.

No changes, but Jan Bednarek has gone to hospital following his first-half injury.

    Aston Villa 1-0 Bournemouth

It's safe to say the restart hasn't been as exciting here as elsewhere.

Alex Moreno fires a shot towards the Bournemouth goal but it's a simple catch for Neto.

    Luke Ayling

Leeds scored five minutes into the first half and they have repeated the trick in the second!

A corner is allowed to float over everyone to the back post and Luke Ayling is allowed to run unmarked to head it home.

He doesn't score many, but the full-back has now netted in successive seasons here.

    Brentford 1-0 Leicester

An early free-kick for Brentford and a chance to whip a ball into the Leicester penalty area to test the Foxes' nerves.

It's far from convincing defending but Christian Norgaard heads off-target.

  10. DISALLOWED GOALpublished at 16:06 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2023

    Wolves 0-1 Leeds

Mario Lemina has the ball in the net for Wolves. He's offside, though, when a corner is flicked on to him before he smashes it in. He also handballs it. Other than that it's a perfect goal.

  11. Postpublished at 16:05 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2023

    Aston Villa 1-0 Bournemouth

We've seen the first victim to the half-time monsoon as Jaidon Anthony can't keep to his feet as he lunges to meet a cross.

Think we'll be seeing some more of that this half.

  12. KICK-OFFpublished at 16:04 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2023

We're back under way for the second half at Brentford, Aston Villa and Wolves.

Southampton and Tottenham will need a little longer after all their stoppage time.

  13. SUBSTITUTIONSpublished at 16:04 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2023

    HT: Wolves 0-1 Leeds

Julen Lopetegui is out and in the Wolves dugout a long time before his players retake the field. He'll be wanting them to make a lot more of the territory and chances they have in this game. They had plenty before the break.

He's made two changes too with Craig Dawson replaced by Nathan Collins. Dawson flirted with a red card in that first half. Pablo Sarabia is also on, for Pedro Neto

  14. Postpublished at 16:02 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2023

    HT: Brentford 1-0 Leicester

Can Brendan Rodgers inspire a Leicester fightback at the break?

The Foxes have lost all eight games when trailing at half-time in the Premier League this season.

  15. Postpublished at 15:58 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2023

    HT: Aston Villa 1-0 Bournemouth

Bournemouth have lost 10 of the 12 games in which they've trailed at the break this season.

Villa, meanwhile, have won six of the seven in which they've led.

Could this one buck the trend?

  16. Postpublished at 15:57 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2023

    HT: Southampton 0-1 Tottenham

    Tony Pulis
Former Stoke manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

The game has been played between both boxes. Spurs have the edge, especially with the wide players. Southampton have not dealt with the switch very well and I'd seriously be looking at that.

    It is too easy.

  17. All changepublished at 15:56 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2023

    HT: Southampton 0-1 Tottenham

Well, we eventually got a goal at St Mary's, and Pedro Porro's first has Tottenham on course to move up to third in the table.

But that only came after a remarkable four first-half substitutions - all due to injuries.

It is the first time in more than 12 years that both teams have made a substitution within the first 10 minutes of a Premier League game.

The last match in which this happened was Everton versus Birmingham City on 9 March 2011.

  18. Postpublished at 15:53 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2023

    HT: Southampton 0-1 Tottenham

    Tony Pulis
Former Stoke manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

Tottenham are marking zonal. There are pockets of space; I'd be getting my players to run at them. A running jump is better than a standing jump.

With James Ward-Prowse's delivery, they'd get chances.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:52 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2023

    Southampton 0-1 Tottenham

It's nice build-up play from Southampton but they really need to get the ball into the box and trouble Fraser Forster.

They do so with their second corner in quick succession but Spurs get it clear and Antonio Conte's side will take a narrow lead into the interval.

  20. Postpublished at 15:51 Greenwich Mean Time 18 March 2023

    Southampton 0-1 Tottenham

    Tony Pulis
Former Stoke manager on BBC Radio 5 Live

Southampton play nice football at times but I don't think they have a goal in them.

I hope I'm wrong; living in this area I want Bournemouth and Southampton to stay up.
