The 1700 or so Dons supporters who have made the journey to Easter Road have been eerily quiet so far. They already seem resigned to another loss.

He's a lucky man. The replay appears to show his studs catching Adam Montgomery right on the ankle.

Ryan Jack is clearly utterly furious at that challenge because he immediately throws himself into a tackle and catches a St Johnstone player very late.

Willie Collum shows him a yellow card. But it's being checked...Collum is over to the screen.

That early penalty takes Rangers skipper James Tavernier on to 10 goals for the season.

Nicky Clark is marching down the tunnel at Ibrox. The forward goes in to tackle Ryan Jack and he's late and misses the ball.

The follow through is quite high and Jack takes a sore one near the knee. Referee Willie Collum decides it's a dangerous challenge

Saints boss Callum Davidson has chucked a water bottle in fury and been booked.

Jordan Jones is too clever for the Ross County defence and creates space for himself to drive a cross into the home defence. It comes at Scott Robinson so quickly all he can do is divert it goalwards with his stomach. Kyle Vassell races in to try to get a touch on it but the ball flashes past the far post.

St Johnstone fashion their first chance. Melker Hallberg curls in a brilliant ball and Nicky Clark's flicked finish flies over the bar.

Up the other end, Ryan Kent stings the palms of Saints keeper Remi Matthews.

Aberdeen are struggling to muster much of a response to Hibs' quickfire double, but Matty Kennedy at least has an effort on goal.

The winger's 18-yard drive is powerful but a couple of feet over the crossbar.

Joe Wright makes the kind of pass that adds a few more grey hairs to Derek McInnes' impressive beard. With time to pick his pass, 30 yards from goal, he plays the ball across the pitch and it's cut out by George Harmon, who advances and has a solid shot saved by Kilmarnock keeper Zach Hemming.

Two minutes later Alex Iacovitti is up in the Killie box supporting another County attack. A headed clearance arrives at a nice height for him to attempt a volley but he smashes it a few feet over. This is much better stuff now.

For the second time this season, Josh Campbell is celebrating a brace against Aberdeen at Easter Road.

Alfredo Morelos has had three chances in front of goal, and not taken them.

Glen Kamara slips through a wonderful pass for him, but again he can't beat St Johnstone goalkeeper Remi Matthews.

He is making good runs at least.

VAR check for a possible Motherwell penalty... but John Beaton is not called across to the screen.

It looks like Charles Dunne hauls Rickie Lamie to the floor at a corner but VAR Grant Irvine is unmoved.

First goal threat from Aberdeen, but Duk's cross-cum-shot into Hibs' six-yard box is more hopeful than anything and nobody is there to take advantage of the winger's effort.
