    HT: Fulham 0-1 West Ham

Fulham have had seven shots to West Ham's one at the break.

None of those seven have troubled Lukasz Fabianski in the West Ham goal though.

They do have Manor Solomon - their second top-scorer in the Premier League this season - and Dan James on the bench.

How long before they turn to them?

Lee: Why on earth are Spurs waiting until the summer to appoint a new manager? Conte may have gone but Stellini is carry on with the same dull negative formation & tactics. We need someone In to start changing now!

Leicester have a record of one draw and eight losses when they've gone in trailing at half-time.

Good luck on a comeback, lads.

Anon: Brentford deserve to be ahead. But where is the consistency with decisions? Seen much worse than that second penalty in other games not penalised this season. How is it clear and obvious when it takes that long to decide?

Anon: If that is now the president for VAR intervention, there should now be about 4 or 5 penalties per game. No clear angle

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

Leicester have just basically lied down and said to Bournemouth 'you can do what you want.'

Unfortunately, especially in the midfield area, they've been woeful Leicester.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:52 British Summer Time 8 April 2023

    Tottenham 1-1 Brighton

    All square at Tottenham.

A brilliant opener by Son Heung-min but Lewis Dunk's header gave Brighton a much-deserved equaliser. They have been the better side and should be ahead.

  7. The bottom six at half-timepublished at 15:52 British Summer Time 8 April 2023

This is how the bottom of the Premier League looks at half-time.

Wolves and West Ham's leads mean they are 12th and 13th respectively and don't even feature on the graphic.

Bournemouth's advantage against Leicester means they are out of the bottom three and pulling away from the Foxes, who sit 19th.

Premier League bottom six at half-time: 15th: Bournemouth 30 points, 16th: Leeds 29 points, 17th: Nottingham Forest 28 points, 18th: Everton 27 points, 19th: Leicester 25 points, 20th: Southampton 23 pointsImage source, BBC Sport/Getty Images

Ivan Toney is a brave footballer, he is brave in how he takes his penalties.

The penalty is more or less exactly the same except it’s a yard higher.

    To do that is brave.

An extremely forgettable half comes to an end.

Forest are giving as good as they get in their quest to claim an elusive away win. Villa will be disappointed with their display considering their recent form.

  12. 'It's easy for Bournemouth'published at 15:48 British Summer Time 8 April 2023

    HT: Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

    Chris Waddle
Ex-England winger on BBC Radio 5 Live

So easy for Bournemouth. They're just strolling round. They're not under any pressure.

When you have problems and you play at home, people think it's an advantage but sometimes it isn't. If you go out there with no confidence you've got no chance.

  13. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 8 April 2023

    Brentford 1-0 Newcastle

Ivan Toney's penalty is the last meaningful act of the half.

Newcastle have offered very little. They're fortunate to only be trailing 1-0 too, with Toney having another penalty saved and also a goal ruled out by VAR.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 8 April 2023

    Fulham 0-1 West Ham

Harrison Reed's own goal means West Ham lead at the break.

The Hammers haven't won on the road in the Premier League since 28 August.

This could be a massive afternoon for David Moyes.

Mike: I'm not a Brighton fan, but I adore watching MacAllister, Caicedo & March playing. Dream midfield of energy, skill, teamwork and pure grit/determination. Other fantastic players too obviously.

  18. Postpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 8 April 2023

    Leicester 0-1 Bournemouth

    Much better from Leicester.

They find James Maddison in a pocket of space on the right-hand side of the area.

He turns and drills towards goal but his effort is deflected behind. The corner comes to nothing.

  19. Postpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 8 April 2023

    Tottenham 1-1 Brighton

Spurs are finishing the half strongly.

Harry Kane manages to cut in off the left and curls it to the back post where Pedro Porro is running in.

He's stretching and can only head it over the bar.

  20. goal

GOAL - Brentford 1-0 Newcastlepublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 8 April 2023

    Ivan Toney

This time, Ivan Toney makes no mistake. He takes a couple of strides before slotting the ball into the corner.

At the third significant time of asking, Toney has his goal and Brentford their lead.
