A nasty one for Illan Meslier. Really brave on the punch.

A great ball in and a great run from Jeffrey Schlupp but they did collide with each other.

At the end of this season there needs to be a serious review of the PGMOL and VAR. Every week Howard Webb has to phone clubs and apologise for incorrect VAR decisions made, the system is not fit for purpose. The PGMOL really has to improve the quality of all officials. It is ruining the game and costing teams valuable points. It's got worse this season.

Alf: ABC. Always be clinical, especially with a defence like Leeds. Sucker punch. Cracking entertainment mind you, second half should be a corker

Leeds had plenty shots forcing saves but Palace had better chances, missed two free headers in 6 yard box they had to score. Sitters!

The Leeds fans in front of me were up on their feet during that VAR review, necks craned towards the big screen to find out the outcome of the offside review and there was palpable disappointment at the verdict.

Crystal Palace became a bit more adventurous after falling behind and the goal was their reward for that but in truth Leeds should have been well out of sight before then.

If I’m a set-piece coach now I would be dodging the manager.

I wouldn’t want to be in the dressing room because they’re all going to look around and say 'that’s your job'.

That is only the third league goal of Marc Guehi's career.

In one of those quirks of football the other two came in consecutive games in November 2021 - against Burnley and Aston Villa.

It is a massive blow for Leeds. They just started giving sloppy free-kicks away. Leeds should be out of sight.

    Leeds 1-1 Crystal Palace

    Michael Brown

You make that run every time and one will come your way and that’s what Marc Guehi did.

He hasn’t had the best of halves, he needed that.

You've got to go with runners. You can't give it up.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 14:49 British Summer Time 9 April 2023

Level at the break, thanks mainly to Palace goalkeeper Sam Johnstone.

Leeds could/should have been out of sight.

  20. 'Palace have not been in it'published at 14:49 British Summer Time 9 April 2023

    Leeds 1-1 Crystal Palace

    Neil Redfearn
Former Leeds manager on BBC Radio Leeds

That is the issue when you give cheap free-kicks away. Two Palace players went for it unmarked.

This is the biggest 1-1 mauling Palace will have. They have not been in it.
