Leeds striker Patrick Bamford chests a ball into the box but a Palace defender clears. I genuinely think that's the closest thing they've had to a chance in this half, and Bamford didn't even get it under control.

Eberechi Eze nutmegs a Leeds player in midfield but then gets his pass wrong.

There’s such a long way to go.

If you sit in against a side with as much energy as Crystal Palace, they’re just going to keep coming.

    Leeds 1-3 Crystal Palace

Illan Meslier flies out of his box to head a long ball away as Leeds leave so much space at the back again. Offside though.

    Leeds 1-3 Crystal Palace

Leeds haven't even had a shot since Palace's equaliser. They've completely fallen away.

Crystal Palace have doubled their Premier League away goals in 2023 today.

They had only needed three in their previous six games on the road.

Palace look a lot more of a team without Zaha. Perhaps not having him there trying to do it all himself has given the rest some more confidence.

    James

Turns out this Palace team might be OK without Zaha. Although they do like to make it hard for themselves

Leeds bring on Spain striker Rodrigo, Italy striker Wilfried Gnonto and Denmark defender Rasmus Kristensen.

Luis Sinisterra, Brenden Aaronson and Junior Firpo are subbed off.

  9. 'This could have everything'published at 15:19 British Summer Time 9 April 2023

    Leeds 1-3 Crystal Palace

Leeds are going to be going for it now. That’s a certainty.

This could have everything this second half.

    Leeds 1-3 Crystal Palace

It's such a great relegation battle this season. One team scores and you start to think maybe they'll be safe - and about half an hour later it's the opposite.

What a start to this second half from Crystal Palace.

Forward runs, desire, quality, understanding the timings.

The little threaded ball is quality from Michael Olise. The touch from Eberechi Eze.

  12. Postpublished at 15:17 British Summer Time 9 April 2023

    Leeds 1-3 Crystal Palace

Michael Olise has more Premier League assists since the start of last season (12) than any Crystal Palace player.

The only player currently aged 21 or younger with more assists in the competition during this time is Bukayo Saka (17).

  13. 'Like playing against mannequins'published at 15:17 British Summer Time 9 April 2023

    Leeds 1-3 Crystal Palace

    Neil Redfearn
Former Leeds manager on BBC Radio Leeds

There was nobody closing down from Leeds, nobody tracking runners. It was a great goal but it is almost as if Palace were playing against mannequins.

    Leeds 1-3 Crystal Palace

    Gary Rose
    BBC Sport at Elland Road

Frustration has turned to disbelief among the home fans as Crystal Palace, a distant second best in the first half, suddenly find themselves with a two-goal advantage.

Leeds were sharp and alert in the first half but are the complete opposite now - they are barely able to string a pass together.

  15. Postpublished at 15:16 British Summer Time 9 April 2023

    Leeds 1-3 Crystal Palace

Now it's Crystal Palace who would be 12th in the table. Leeds would remain two points off the drop zone.

    The Eagles are flying now!

    Awful defending though.

Eberechi Eze gets the ball in midfield and plays it out right to Michael Olise.

No Leeds players follow Eze as he runs through the centre before being picked out by Olise's through ball. Eze just pokes the ball past the onrushing Illan Meslier.

  17. 'Wonderful goal'published at 15:14 British Summer Time 9 April 2023

    Leeds 1-2 Crystal Palace

    Michael Brown
Former Manchester City midfielder for BBC Radio 5 Live

That's an incredible goal. They start to move it around, gaining confidence.

Wonderful ball in from Michael Olise and Jordan Ayew comes in, glances the header into the near corner.

It's a wonderful goal and they've started so well.

No wonder they are putting Leeds under this pressure.

  18. 'Palace smelling blood'published at 15:14 British Summer Time 9 April 2023

    Leeds 1-2 Crystal Palace

    Neil Redfearn
Former Leeds manager on BBC Radio Leeds

Leeds have just not started in the second half. There is a lethargy about the press and their passing. Palace are smelling blood.

It was a great ball in by Olise and what a header from Ayew. Luke Ayling had to get square on, pick his man up but he didn't.

  19. Postpublished at 15:14 British Summer Time 9 April 2023

That's only Jordan Ayew's second Premier League goal of the season.

    Jordan Ayew

Leeds have really been made to pay for all those missed chances in the first half.

Michael Olise curls in a cross from the right and Jordan Ayew beats Luke Ayling to it to score a header from 10 yards out.
