Wolves 1-0 Brentford

VAR takes a look from all the angles but backs up the on-field official.

It was a poor back pass that got Brentford in bother and forced David Raya to meet Toti in the box.

Julen Lopetegui is furious. He has made it very clear he feels decisions have gone unfairly against his side this season.

Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah is deservedly showing a yellow card for a foul on Pervis Estupinan and just shrugs his shoulders.

Hits the woodwork makes this sound more dramatic than it was but Dwight McNeil's cross does hit the outside of the post.

Eberechi Eze takes the free-kick despite Michael Olise hovering close by. He's miles out but goes for glory and it's a dreadful shot which sails way over the bar. What a waste!

Toti goes down in the box under a challenge from Bees keeper David Raya. The Brentford keeper shoulder barges him on the turn.

The referee waves away the protests but VAR will have a good look.

Brentford's Mathias Jensen takes a big risk as he pulls the shirt of a Wolves player to stop him advancing.

He was booked in the first half for a similar offence. There's no second yellow, though.

Brighton's first chance of the second half. First of many based on the first half. Julio Enciso's effort is saved.

Moments later they have another chance as Kepa gives the ball straight to Brighton but makes up for it by saving Moises Caicedo's shot.

Diego Costa moved pretty well here!

Matheus Nunes chips a ball into the box for the striker to collect and fire a shot that David Raya stops at his near post.

Joel Ward is beaten on the left before Kyle Walker-Peters is shoved in the back by Cheick Doucoure. James Ward-Prowse comes across to take the free-kick just in front of the corner flag. It's whipped in and Odsonne Edouard heads it away.

Everton chance seconds after the restart but Vitalii Mykolenko's shot is deflected into the side-netting.

Diego Costa has come out with strapping on his left knee this half. He was limping at one point after taking a blow. He's not moving entirely easily now.

I think having watched Chelsea against Real Madrid that was also an area they exploited and Chilwell got sent off in that game. Brighton really dominated towards the end of the first half.

Tottenham force a save from Neto as Son Heung-min dances inside and fires a shot that the Cherries keeper blocks despite a deflection.

Spurs led in this game but have failed to build anything on that. Parity is the least Bournemouth deserve. They've grown and grown in the contest.

Already an improvement in Palace as they win their first corner of the afternoon but it's cleared by Southampton.

Back under way for the second half in four of the matches.

Ryan Christie goes down in the Spurs box after a challenge from Christian Romero. Bournemouth want a penalty. Instead, the referee gives a free-kick the other way and books Christie for diving.

Southampton have shown moments of promise, but not enough in a game you feel they have to win.

They need a flash of inspiration from somewhere, though they’ve been lacking that all season.
