While Wolves fans can breathe more easily, the nerves are high for the teams below them as they try to cling on to Premier League survival.

Meanwhile, Aston Villa fans are dreaming of Europe as they made it 10 games unbeaten in the Premier League.

Another interesting night of top-flight action with lots more to come tomorrow including the potential title-defining clash between Manchester City and Arsenal.

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "We are getting lots of shots in and enjoying lots of possession so I'm very happy with that.

"Of course, we are disappointed, we wanted something from the game and when you conceded late the disappointment is even greater.

"The last four games have been similar to today in terms of the consistency and we need to keep going."

It was so entertaining but really scrappy and not a great game of football.

You can't question the commitment from both sides.

Leeds United

Leeds United manager Javi Gracia to BBC MOTD: "Very intense. We started winning then conceded the goal at the end so it was tough for us.

"We were expecting another final but we got a point and we have to prepare for the next game. In this important part of the season we conceded that chance and they scored. We had clear chances as well but it was too late.

"Now is the moment when we have to be strong, have a good mentality and be optimistic."

On Patrick Bamford's miss: "To be honest I think it was maybe offside anyway but it was a clear chance and we had one good header from Marc Roca which was in my opinion the clearer chance in that moment."

Brian Sands: None of the bottom six in premier League are good enough. They'd struggle in Championship and not return. Whoever goes down deserves to.

Wolves

Wolves manager Julen Lopetegui speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "We are happy. Three days ago we were sad and today we are happy because we got a good victory against a good team. We had to suffer but we got the win.

"We defended very well against quality players. We didn't have the ball as much as I want but in the end we showed big commitment and we were able to score the second goal.

"I'm happy for Jose [Sa] because he was sad about the penalty last week but he made some incredible saves."

Leicester City

Leicester manager Dean Smith to BBC MOTD: "Emotions were up and down during that game. A great start from ourselves. A great strike from Youri Tielemans. It gave them a lift then when the goal wasn't given but our response was good. Then we gave a soft goal away.

"I'm a tad disappointed in general with the chances we created but we could have lost it at the end on that set-piece where our concentration has to be better."

On Jamie Vardy: "He's got into two really good positions on Saturday at Wolves and he got his goal today. Some great football for us that opened them up for his goal. Pleased for him as it's not been a fruitful season but nice to have him scoring with five games to go."

Relegation run-in: "We have a big game at home next week and I'm sure our place will be rocking. If we keep performing how we're performing I'm sure we can get some wins."

Leeds United

Leeds United manager Javi Gracia: "We had started leading then we conceded the goal near the end and had some chances. We worked for that. We are disappointed we missed some chances but we take one point and try to do it again in the next game.

"I'm happy because we followed the plan with a good attitude. They show high commitment to the club and the situation we are living. This way we are closer to the three points.

"We have different options to play up front. In this case we chose Rodrigo and Patrick Bamford, knowing we would need to play more direct in some parts of the game.

"The dressing room is really disappointed but we have a point and we have to play five games, being ready to be at our best."

Leicester City

Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "I think they got two clear chances at the end on a corner when we need to do better.

"In the end we could have scored another so it's disappointing form both sides.

"It will feel like two points dropped for Leeds but I thought we fought hard to not lose this game."

On Kelechi Iheanacho's injury: "That was his only option to pass the ball because he couldn't go further. He found Maddison and Vardy was able to finish. Kelechi was injured but it was worth it."

Leicester City

Leicester manager Dean Smith on the draw: "It probably was [fair] because of the chances they had at the end. They scored against the run in play but we have to do better from the throw-in. There was a lot of character and we created the bigger moments until that set-piece at the end.

"James Maddison has a lot of technical ability and he handles the ball well but it's what we have expected from him.

"At half-time I thought we might have to change it but we started the second half well and were fairly dominant. Then we needed to threaten their last line a little more and we certainly did that with the players who came on.

"It's optimistic because they are good players. We can be a good team. If we cut out the lapses of concentration from set-pieces we'll be fine.

"We probably should have another one where Patson Daka squares it. I've not seen it back but we thought that would be enough to win the game."

On Kelechi Iheanacho's injury: "I'm not sure how bad that is but that will be a bit of a blow for us."

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson to BBC Sport: "The team should be more than satisfied with the way they went about their business. We were unfortunate to concede so early. It gave Wolves something to hold onto. The way we came back into the game is worthy of a lot of credit. I’m pleased with the way the players worked in the second half.

"I always believed the equalising goal was there. Credit to Wolves, they defended well. The second goal was one of those cold showers you have to accept from time to time.

“It [their rally] started to come towards the end of the first half. We made one or two tweaks at half-time to stop Neves getting as much of the ball. It was a good work-rate from the team, they never once dropped their heads or felt sorry for themselves. The team believed all the way through.

“We had plenty of time to get ourselves back into the game. I was convinced we were going to get an equaliser but we didn’t manage it.

“That [penalty] was the icing on the cake for them having held onto 1-0 for so long.

“Nobody could suggest the players’ mindset is that we’re safe. I thought it was a very energetic, intense performance. On a normal day they would have got a result. We have five more games – I want to see exactly what we did today."

Leicester City

Leicester midfielder James Maddison on whether a draw was the right result: "Probably not. If you ask Leeds they will probably say the same. They scored when we were on top. Patrick Bamford should probably score but we dominated the second half. We created chances and probably could have won the game. It's important you don't lose though. We take the point away."

On Dean Smith's impact: "It gives you a new lift and hunger. You don't lose that but it's a new man to impress. New messages and a new voice can sometimes help. The players are fighting. There are positives.

"I'm a more experienced player than I was when I joined. It's our responsibility to produce for our fans and our club.

"Jamie Vardy was born to score goals. When I saw it was him finishing it off I felt calm. We need to take the challenges and hopefully get the end goal."

Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace boss Roy Hodgson to BT Sport: "Excellent second half from our side. We created a lot of pressure and dominated the game. The second goal was harsh because it looked as if we were going to equalise. We couldn’t put the ball in the net. We took a chance putting two forwards on and going for it. I’m not disappointed with the players' performances at all."

On whether keeper Sam Johnstone should have been sent off for the penalty: "That would have been harsh. There were quite a few of those challenges, we were on the end of a few of them. It was a foul and penalty but red card would have been harsh.

"It was a very good second half. You can’t do much more than that. They were reduced to just kicking the ball out of play.

"What I saw tonight, I want to see the same again. I’m confident if we keep it going we’ll win more than than we’ll lose."

Andy Benskin: Why is Bamford playing 90 minutes when at no stage did he look like scoring. We have strikers on the bench. What has Gnonto done wrong?

Ayodele Chukwunonso: Should the Leeds UTD hierarchy have stuck with Marcelo Bielsa during the cold patch? Cos all the managers they employed since then have failed to galvanize them like the way he does. Yes they play erratic football but they do win games unlike now.

Aston Villa

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery, speaking to BT Sport: "Very happy. We are trying to be consistent with each match, winning and keeping the clean sheets. Today it was very important to get a Europa position more clear.

"In the first half, we had good positioning and were trying to stop the transitions and we had two or three good chances to score. The second half was different. They pressed high and we were a little tired after the match we played on Saturday."

Aston Villa

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery, speaking to BBC Sport: "We are in the top 10. We are in the Europa position. It is still difficult to achieve but after this win we are just ahead of trying to keep being with the option to get there.

"There's still Liverpool and Tottenham and Brighton and we are going to fight with them but with each match we are winning, it is giving us confidence and chance to get there.

"In the first half we played very well. We controlled the game like we wanted to do.

"The second half changed because of course we tried to keep in control possession of the game but it became difficult because they tried to push more."

Leeds have lost four of the last five and they couldn't afford to lose tonight. Their upcoming fixtures don't look pretty.

I think you can rule out Crystal Palace, Wolves and West Ham from relegation. For me, it's Bournemouth, Leeds, Leicester, Everton and Southampton.

It's going to be really interesting to see how it pans out.
