Arsenal’s defence keeping them alive here. That’s a wonderful bit of defending but it’s too easy… unacceptable for Arteta’s standards. Arsenal need to step up!

    Richard from Essex

Can’t see how Arteta thinks a Man City-lite style of play is going to work against full flavour Pep.

    Save!

Aaron Ramsdale gets down well to stick out a hand and deflect an Erling Haaland shot away from goal. The Norwegian had set himself up for the effort by bullying his way through two Arsenal defenders.

    Kevin de Bruyne again!

He's running the Arsenal defence ragged. He charges away oince more to collect a neat pass. This time he has two men for company, one of whom is Ben White, who makes a crucial block to stop the Belgian's shot.

Pretty sure that intervention prevented it being 2-0.

Now it's West Ham who should be level. Brilliant defending by Virgil van Dijk.

Said Benrahma plays a delicious ball across the six-yard box and Van Dijk sticks a leg out to deny Michail Antonio a chance into an empty net.

From the following corner Antonio heads just wide.

Much better from Arsenal. They have the ball and keep it in City territory, shifting it right and left in search of an opening.

City hold firm, though, and Rodri steps in to claim the ball and then win a free-kick.

4 or 5 games ago Arsenal didn't need to win this here they were clear and coasting at the top. How things can change so quickly. I can't see Arsenal getting anything from this game unfortunately. City's title to lose now.

Forest's goal has gone down as an OG by Brighton defender Pascal Gross, by the way.

That's virtually the last action of a fabulous and frantic first half in Nottingham.

The half-time balti pie will taste sweeter now for the home fans. That's presuming they can even eat because of the nerves.
