The title race is all over. In terms of where Arsenal are now and the damage from those last three results I think it's over.

Arsenal have had a brilliant season with a young and vibrant squad but I think a lack of experience will be the telling factor.

This season is Arsenal's best chance to win for a while I think. Liverpool, Chelsea and Spurs all underperforming, Man U started the season terribly, and City haven't been their best this season. If they don't win it this season, who knows when they'll have a chance again.

    Caleb

Heart says Arsenal are capable of getting at least a draw, but head says this will go with the form book. City don't get tired or complacent, especially on the home stretch. 4-0 city I'm afraid.

Huge sense of anticipation and excitement already here at Etihad Stadium. Inside and outside the stadium it just feels like a huge game - the Premier League match of the season.

Manchester City fans are thronging the players' entrance as the team coach pulls up, giving manager Pep Guardiola and his reigning champions a noisy greeting as they aim to strike a huge psychological blow on current leaders Arsenal, who have faltered in recent weeks.

Saliba will be a huge miss tonight for Arsenal, failed to keep a clean sheet since he's been out. I'm going for a 2 - 2 draw.

    Tyler, Hertfordshire

I follow Arsenal but I can't see us beating City. I think the pressure is getting to the players. I see a 3-0 scoreline tonight to City.

  8. No Shelvey in Forest squadpublished at 18:40 British Summer Time 26 April 2023

Nottingham Forest v Brighton (19:30 BST)

    Simon Stone
BBC Sport at the City Ground

No Jonjo Shelvey in the Nottingham Forest squad tonight.

It has been reported Shelvey reacted badly to being left out of the starting line-up to face former club Liverpool at the weekend and was sent home by manager Steve Cooper.

Shelvey arrived from Newcastle during the January window but a combination of injuries and poor form mean he has had little impact on Forest's relegation fight.

  9. Sutton's predictionpublished at 18:38 British Summer Time 26 April 2023

Nottingham Forest v Brighton (19:30 BST)

Chris Sutton's predictionsImage source, BBC Sport

Forest showed a bit of fight against Liverpool at the weekend but still left Anfield empty-handed. It is going to be just as hard for them to get anything from this game.

Brighton are going to have to pick themselves up after the disappointment of their FA Cup semi-final defeat, but I thought they were the better team against Manchester United.

I've got to say, while I admire what Arsenal and Manchester City have done this season, the Seagulls under Roberto de Zerbi are my favourite team to watch, with the confidence they show and the risks they take.

All the players have a great understanding of their team's patterns of play and, while they might be feeling a bit flat after the weekend, I think they will be too good for Forest.

    Prediction: 1-2

  10. 'City can deal with schedule'published at 18:36 British Summer Time 26 April 2023

Man City v Arsenal (20:00 BST)

    Jobi McAnuff
Former Jamaica midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Manchester City are bang in form and they've found a rhythm that only they can. There are a lot of fixtures coming up but they have the squad to deal with it.

  11. Sutton's predictionpublished at 18:34 British Summer Time 26 April 2023

West Ham v Liverpool (19:45 BST)

    Sutton's prediction

West Ham have had a great week with two four-goal wins, in the Europa Conference League and then at Bournemouth, but their improvement goes back further than that.

The Hammers have taken 10 points from their past four games and they are at the stage where another win will probably be enough to keep them up.

I am not sure they will get it here, despite the improvement of Michail Antonio. This season, like a lot of West Ham players, he has been a bit of a disappointment, but things have really clicked for him of late.

They will make life difficult for Liverpool and while I think Jurgen Klopp's side will score goals, I still don't trust the Reds defensively - Nottingham Forest caused them problems so West Ham will too.

    Chris Sutton's prediction: 2-2

  12. 'Arsenal showed character'published at 18:32 British Summer Time 26 April 2023

Man City v Arsenal (20:00 BST)

    Izzy Christiansen
Everton and England midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

Arsenal come into this game on the back of three draws and that takes the pressure off them.

After seeing the character shown by some of the Arsenal players at Southampton, coming from behind, it really impressed me. It looked to me like players that want to win the title.

Martin Odegaard came to life in the last 20 minutes. He brought his team back into that. I think Arsenal are going to win.

  13. Team news - Johnson starts; three changes for Brightonpublished at 18:30 British Summer Time 26 April 2023

Nottingham Forest v Brighton (19:30 BST)

Brennan Johnson starts and Serge Aurier returns to captain Nottingham Forest as Steve Cooper makes two changes to the XI that started the 3-2 defeat at Liverpool.

Scott McKenna is out for the season with a fractured collarbone and Remo Freuler drops to the bench as Forest target a win to get them out of the relegation zone.

Nottingham Forest XI: Navas; Aurier, Felipe, Niakhate; N Williams, Mangala, Danilo, Lodi; Gibbs-White; Johnson, Awoniyi.

Subs: Hennessey, Worrall, Lingard, Toffolo, Surridge, Kouyate, Freuler, Dennis, Ayew.

Roberto de Zerbi makes three changes to the Brighton side that started Sunday's FA Cup semi-final defeat by Manchester United on Sunday.

Jason Steele and Levi Colwill come in for Robert Sanchez and Adam Webster, while 18-year-old Argentine midfielder Facundo Buonanotte makes his first Premier League start.

Danny Welbeck drops out of the XI but is fit enough for a place on the bench. Evan Ferguson remains sidelined.

Brighton XI: Steele; Gross, Dunk, Colwill, Estupinan; Caicedo, Mac Allister; March, Buonanotte, Mitoma; Enciso.

Subs: Sanchez, Webster, Welbeck, Undav, Ayari, Gilmour, Van Hecke, Veltman, Offiah.

I back Arsenal to win tonight and win the title. May be blind optimism, but we've been too good this season to throw it away now. 2-0 to the Arsenal.

Nobody can dispute Haaland is a goal scoring animal but I still maintain my argument that City with Haaland aren’t as good as an XI. Arsenal shouldn’t be scared as long as Holding doesn’t get silly and sent off…

  16. 'We have to keep believing'published at 18:25 British Summer Time 26 April 2023

    Nottingham Forest 0-0 Brighton

Despite their shocking run, Forest boss Steve Cooper said yesterday his squad can take plenty of positives from their performance in a 3-2 defeat at Liverpool on Saturday.

But like that game at Anfield, they might not see much of the ball.

Brighton, like they do, hogging the ball and trying to draw out Forest.

An early chance see Solly March whip in a ball from the right, forcing Neco Williams into heading behind for a corner.

Fresh from the disappointment of Sunday's FA Cup semi-final loss, Brighton fans might have needed a pick-me-up.

They got one when 18-year-old Republic of Ireland striker Evan Ferguson signed a new contract yesterday.

Ferguson, who has scored nine goals in his breakthrough season, has put pen to paper on a deal that runs to 2028.

“Evan’s contract extension is great news," said Seagulls boss Roberto de Zerbi.

"He trains and plays like a senior player with many years of experience and has become an important member of the squad.

“The aim is to help him become one of the strongest strikers in Europe.”

Arsenal will easily win tonight they have had their rocky patch and now Man City will feel the wrath of the team. 1-3 all day long and the title is coming to North London.

    Dan from London

Real Madrid lost 4-2 to Girona last night. One eye on CL semi final maybe. Perhaps Arsenal's best chance tonight will hinge on City being in a similar mindset.

Man City v Arsenal (20:00 BST)

    Charlie Adam
Former Blackpool midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think the Etihad is the worst place Arsenal can be going to. I think City will blow them away. It's only City that can beat City. They have a top quality manager and an incredible group of players.

The Treble is seriously on their mind and I think they will be dangerous.

  20. One more for the recordpublished at 18:16 British Summer Time 26 April 2023

Man City v Arsenal (20:00 BST)

Erling Haaland has scored 32 Premier League goals for Manchester City this season, the joint-most ever by a player in a 38-game campaign in the competition.

Twenty of these goals have come at the Etihad Stadium, the most home goals by a player in a season since 2007-08 when Cristiano Ronaldo (Old Trafford) and Fernando Torres (Anfield) each scored 21.
