I don't get Tottenham's game plan. They seem to sit deep and not mark anyone and that is a recipe for disaster.
There are so many internationals in this side but they haven't got anything about them. Who is the leader? Who is demanding more?
They are pottering around in zones and only started to perform when they conceded three goals.

The Tottenham striker netted his 208th Premier League goal which moves him joint-second alongside Wayne Rooney in the all-time leading goalscorers, behind only Alan Shearer (260).

It's not over. Tottenham have players who can score but you have to say that for 40 minutes it was very poor. They need to work harder.

A strong end to the half by Tottenham after a terrible opening 15 minutes. Liverpool were cruising and perhaps let their levels drop slightly. But they have a 3-1 lead at Anfield at the break.

It's well-worked down the left. Ivan Perisic cuts inside, beats Virgil van Dijk and chips it to an unmarked Harry Kane.
Kane chests it down then fires it past Alisson from close-range.

Harry Kane wins it inside Liverpool's half. He curls it through to Son Heung-min, who should surely score, but Virgil van Dijk gets back on the line to make the block. Brilliant defending.
