    Four Huddersfield? Four? That's insane.

Huddersfield defender Matty Pearson scores his second and his side's FOURTH against third-placed Middlesbrough.

What a day this is turning into for the Terriers as they look to escape trouble at the bottom of the league.

    Birmingham 1-0 Blackburn

    Kevin Gallacher
Former Blackburn striker on BBC Radio Lancashire

Blackburn haven't closed the back door. Looking at the 18-yard box, where is the marking?

Reda Khadra lets rip with an unbelievable strike, low through lots of bodies. I'm shellshocked Birmingham have taken the lead.

    Coventry 0-2 Stoke

Matty Godden and Viktor Gyokeres have been denied by Stoke keeper Jack Bonham as Coventry desperately seek a lifeline.

They are only four points behind the play-offs in the live table, but it could be so much better.

This is the second time all season that Huddersfield have scored three goals at home.

A second successive win would do wonders for Neil Warnock's hopes of keeping the Terriers in the Championship.

You'd imagine third-placed Middlesbrough, who were 1-0 up at half-time remember, will throw the kitchen sink at them to try and get back into this game now.

    Cardiff 1-2 Swansea

Swans dangerman Joel Piroe collects a pass from Liam Cullen and rounds Ryan Allsop in the City goal, only for a heavy touch to send the ball over the byline.

Swansea have never won three in a row at Cardiff... they are about half an hour from doing just that.

    Wigan 1-0 QPR

QPR's miserable form looks set to continue unless they can find some sort of breakthrough against bottom side Wigan.

Ilias Chair tries his luck from 25 yards out but his effort is well dealt with by Latics keeper Ben Amos.

    Sanny Rudravajhala
    Presenter, Squad Goals

As it stands Huddersfield would be 22nd in the table, but level on points with Cardiff City who are losing to Swansea.

In their previous two games they drew with Norwich and won at Millwall.

Neil Warnock is doing the business.

Bottom side Forest Green held out until the 51st minute but now trail Portsmouth after Owen Dale's goal.

Duncan Ferguson picked-up his first win as Rovers boss in their last game but it looks unlikely they will make it two in two.

Barnsley are now 4-0 up against Accrington, with Devante Cole grabbing his second of the afternoon.

Cambridge have scored twice in four minutes at the start of the second half to stun Port Vale.

The Terriers have turned it around!

    WOW!

What a briliant start to the second half from Neil Warnock's men.

Josh Koroma gives them the lead with a sumptuous finish and, as it stands, the Terriers are moving level on points with 21st-placed Cardiff.

Could the great escape be on after all?!

    Norwich 0-0 Sheff Utd

News of a Huddersfield equaliser against Middlesbrough will have been met with some delight by Sheffield United and their travelling fans.

The second-placed Blades have got a real game on their hands themselves this afternoon though.

Goalkeeper Wes Foderingham has to be alert to cut out an effort from Marquinhos for the home side.

  19. Postpublished at 16:10 British Summer Time 1 April 2023

Fair to say Mark Robins was less than happy with Coventry's first half... he's made three changes at the break with Ryan Howley, Josh Wilson-Esbrand and Michael Rose replacing Josh Eccles, Jake Bidwell and Kyle McFazdean.

Nine unbeaten going into this one, were the Sky Blues.
